I actually owned this fking incredible lp on vinyl when it first ever was released! My Mum managed a local record store for over 19 yearz & would alwayz bring home any or most freebeez given to her as promos from regional record label hackz. But, alas, throughout my dayz with wacked out grrlfiendz, many ov my lpz were simply ripped off from my kollexion. Thanx for sharing this awesome kickass song.
This is the ultimate of something -- sure to transform your earwax into something puce and glowing -- Kim is the master of transformative cerebellum sauce...you can't get enough...
Yeah it should remind you of Iggy since at the time of this LP, CREEM magazine reported that Kim was trying to get the Stooges to kick out Iggy & make HIM their lead singer!! I guess he had to settle for 3 Dog Night when they turned down his offer!
Animal Man - Fowley,Kim [Los Angeles, California] - 1968 - " Fowley CASTS himself as a WILD, feral rock 'n' roller, out for blood and a dirty howling riff." - Impossible But True: The Kim Fowley Story-2003. NOTE: Frank Zappa-esque. HOT guitar, vocals, beat.
GTR, Bass, Keyboards are the guys from Three Dog Night. Met them in 96 and had them sign my copy of Outrageous. Mike Allsup was floored that I had it. Was tellin' all sorts of stories about recording with Kim.
