To all the people asking, WTF is Carradine doing in this movie? same reason why any actor not complete shit are in these stupid movies. They are filmed on location of some island, like New Zealand or Guam or something. They're roles are usually pretty small, so most of their work is done in about 2 or 3 hours a day, so essentially they can get a free trip, free deluxe hotel suite, and get paid a quarter of a mil for about a week of working 2 hours a day.

negative. I know the producer. When people like you spread numbers around which are inaccurate, you undermine the hard work involved for such a small figure. Syfy contracts these films out for a flat rate. Whatever they come in under, is the profit margin. Calling this a million dollar feature is insulting. I am just looking out for someone who intentionally or unintentionally is getting slammed. Show me your feature >350K that 1) got made and 2) made money.

When I first heard it, I couldn't believe it either, but I did do some research, and many of these features can average that(though, to be fair, MegaShark vs Giant Octopus only worked with $250K). Mega Piranha, done by Asylum Films, 'supposedly' cost $5 mil...yeah, right..but you gotta remember, CGI, even bad CGI, costs money, plus extras, equipment, etc. Some of these films you can see hitting that mark depending on the quality. It can be hit or miss.

GUYS CALM DOWN!! It's meant to be bad, that the point of a B-Movie. It's completely rubbish concepts being made into low budget films, because Hollywood wouldn't dare touch it. I love these things BECAUSE they are cheesy. Makes for a good final monster battle at the end.
