iam 6'2 and change and i fit on everything from my 05 r6 , to 08 r1's and d16 rr's.

plus i even been on a 150 cc vespa thing .

i think it is more like how flexable are you . lol

i had both this and the gixer, and i prefered the gixer for performance, but for looks i prefered r1

Im 5'8" and ride an R1... as long as you are comfortable and can handle it should not matter.. no doubt the R1 rips

I've just sold my 07 R6 and waiting to pick up my 08 R1, the R6 was a brilliant bike for the twisties, but a little low on power down low, so hoping the R1 will make up where the R6 left off :) the extra 60bhp should be fun too :P

the r6 might be a better deal for the road,,, it will always beat the r1 in corners and most street ,,, but that's just me saying that ,, i have an r6 on order so might be a bit by est LOL :) but either bike will give ya big smiles

R1 and CBR1000rr is slightly the same. its all about the rider not the bike. but all in all i think the CBR1000 has better cornering. but both is nice and good bike.

seat height is like 80cm?
