At least this movie sends the message of the dangers of living in low socioeconomic areas. I myself would not even consider driving into the North side of Adelaide. It is a shit hole in every possible way. Most of the murders that have happened in Adelaide have involved the Northern suburbs in some form.

Sure there are areas that are still pretty bad, but it's not all like that. Personally I found living in the Ascot Park area to be rougher than where I am now. I like the Northern Suburb I live in, good public transport, a nice community vibe, people smile and say hello to you in the street. I've never felt threatened or unsafe where I live.

This documentary is not a chilling as the book written by Jeremy Pudney. I remember it wasn't allowed to be sold here in S.A until after the court case was over. So chilling, I've read it many times... a good yet haunting read for true crime books fans like myself.

well, I understand why the police had to keep the story to the public.

It's because of the investigation, if the police had let the press know about this story, then the criminal would in fact have knowledge that he/she has been hunted by the authorities, thus giving him enough time to escape or what so ever. Actually, its an SOP in the investigation, after the case have been solved, its okay to let the public know. It's a best practice.
