  • If yr gardens small...why grow vine beans...wouldn't bush be better?

  • @bowler8 it grows vertically instead of horizontally so it takes up less space in your garden [he ['Smiddy'] says it in one of his videos in the "Basics of vertical gardening"]

  • Thanks for sharing the useful information.

  • Good info, thanks.

  • im curious how do you pick a bean to harvest the seeds? do you let it wait till it is drying up to pick it or just big and plump and let the seeds dry? would be some great info to have. thanks

  • thanks. I need to know all this stuff! It is amazing that I didn't even know when to pick a bean, so thanks!

  • My bean plant stopped growing when i put it outside, but its still produces beans, any help would be appreciated?

  • How many bean plants are on this pole?

  • I'm sure it's only one plant. You don't want several plants close together because then they won't produce as much. They should be at least 10-12 inches apart. Pole beans do grow very tall vines.

  • Wow - I definitely have some thinning to do this weekend. Thanks a bunch!

  • what kind of pole did you use?
