it should also be noted that the front door of the Cosmos 1000 can be removed (and reattached) for easier access to the drive bays. of course, with this custom painted Cosmos 1000, you'd lose some of the beautiful artwork if the front door were removed.
who needs a painted pc? most of people uses them at home all alone... and you can't say to the people or post the pictures on the net because ur going to be some sort of looser... at least that's what i think even if i love pc modding
@Blade4613 i absolutely agree ;) i was only saying people without fancy paintjobs box their pc aswell, windowed sidepanels are a pain in the ass when it comes to scratching :(
@ch1ck3n08 i don't do lan partys so i got a normal pannel so i can have a 230mm fan on the side, but if i had to go a lan party anyway i don't care that other people see what i've got inside
Seriously, this is like rip off, I just configured one of their i7-870 systems, its like $2200, i just built one with better specs same CPU, better ram, video card, etc for $900 with a Zelman 9900 LED cooler with temps of 25c under normal load.
Cables are nothing special, anyone with half a brain can make a nice looking job with zipties etc.
anyone interested in learning how to build budget comps with pretty good performance should check out this link. building computers is much cheaper than buying premade, overpriced computers. while this book isn't exactly up to date on lots of new hardware, it helps you build your computer without the risk of damaging any computer parts. i built my first computer using this book.
@wombattos Thats very affordable, you really do not know how much it costs to get those air brush paintings. The paint is very exspensive, and it takes a very long time to paint the decals. Its not easy bro
i think the images were all rice paper trick made...its a airbrushing technique..which is very fun to do since it cost less time..and can be done by anybody and makes your work look pro..try check it out on youtube.."rice paper trick"..its also called the 100 dollar trick
It does, it also helps lower temps because the one card isn't working as much, when i first build my system i forgot to enable sli, so my GPU hit 94C now that its in sli it goes max 72C
Nice, yeah i just built mine too, i went with 9800GTX'x cause there cheap and they'll do me fine for about a year when i buy the 300's or maybe by then the 400's will be announced. Either way, the GTX 285 in 4 way sli is a beast but very pricey.
thats nice, i went with the i5 750 because i was on a tight budget, and it goes excellent. the i9 will have a hefty price tag, can't even imagine what the cheapest one will be...
haha, same here, i might of been able to aford the 1336 i7 combo if i held off on completing my build for about a month, the gpu bandwidth is alot better on X58 so if your getting i7 id go with the X58 boards
@townending you can get a good PC for 600$-700, just got to know where to buy, buy more easily accesible components at a store, everythign else on ebay for cheaper things like RAM, DVD, and HDD< get core i7 870 at new egg for 290$
@callofdutyguy9 yeah, i bought all my parts off tigerdirect where there is no tax and free shipping. However the 870 is not a socket 1336 and would not give me the extra GPU bandwidth, you would need to buy a a core i7 9xx
this is for those who wanna pay for the crappy far cry artwork , and for a stock cpu cooler in such a system config , shame on them Smooth Creations with stock cooler in a so called gaming rig lol , ... ya better D.I.Y. ppl , think for ur money !

I wanted to make sure I wasn't talking out my ass. built an identical machine down to every last part double checked it that would be the diff of building it yourself on newegg including final price and shipping. Thats a lot of games u can get with a min of $258. Ppl shouldn't doubt themselves most can build a comp and should, its a fun xp
They ship for free, i dont know where you live but i get free shipping to where i am. And I know that alot of people can build their own computers but its a daunting task for people who no little to none about computers. I know there slightly more expensive but its meant for people who do not have time to build their own. Also there is no tax to where i am either so i think its just more expensive to ship to you. well even with that by simply making time or not being lazy you could build your own comp. My buddy isn't very computer literate and I helped him. It was fun, he learned form the xp and he saved a lot of money. $300 might not be a lot to you but it is to me & i rather take pride knowing i built it myself than being lazy and ignorant.
