there are several things that i want about Doom:

1.- Play the game...i've been waiting for 2 years for it

2.- Send a request to make this videogame a real deal movie...no changes...the way the game is

and i really can't wait for Doom 4

When you're getting your first mission, the other character says "I hope you follow this sentry better than you've followed order so far." Is this an allusion to Doom 1's background story? From what I understand, the player in Doom 1 was transferred to Mars because of his poor behaviour in the military on Earth.

Doom 3: Worlds on Fire by Matthew Costello gets in depth about the story in the game, and shows what the main character did to end up on mars. The author wrote the dialogue for Doom 3 and Doom 3: resurrection of evil.
