@siskavard no need, the scroll wheel on the side means that you can rotate all of your work in the programs

@Benzo0117 I think the physical rotation is a huge selling point for these things. I wouldn't have ever bought mine if it didn't rotate. It's the digital equivalent of an animation disc. I suppose the usefulness of the rotation is different for other fields, but in animation it is almost absolutely essential.

I bought this last month and it is worth every penny - perhaps more. My productivity has gone up, my drawings are better and I just love the ergonomic design. Very important tip, though - make sure you keep an eye on the nibs and replace often so as to not scratch the glass.

@wacomeurope Please could you provide some information about colour calibration - compatibility with Spyder3, that sort of thing. I've looked on the Wacom website and all it really states is that it has a high colour gamut (92% Adobe RGB). CC is EXTREMELY important, obviously.

Looks great though! As my wrists are getting older I'm seriously considering spending some £££s for the ergonomics alone.

It is a small resolution for a 24 inch screen. I know what a pixel, and I see tile at a distance apart. 2500 - 3000 pixels, it would be okay for today.

@marloon88 Well most commonly used programs have a built into image rotate, like CS4, so they instead focused on making the legs stronger - so it can support you're upper body weight and be more comfortable.

Yep, Painter and PS have image rotation, problem is though the image is displayed at considerably lower quality while in rotate mode. But with the weight of this new gadget it´s no wonder thy couldn´t build in mechanical rotation.

A completely different question: What is known about parallax in this thing? Cintiq18 was excellent there, Cintiq21 (2010 model) much worse (app. 2X the amount), I´d be curious to know how they managed it in this case. Anyone?

So far my comments have been negative, but actually I like this. I just pointed out the couple negative points.

The size looks great, the color accuracy, the glass surface, the ability to have the keyboard accessible, the express keys, and of course like all Cintiqs- the ability to draw directly on screen.

The price though... its just too expensive, it reminds me of Apple when they were overpriced and under-designed.

@2dFXman It's just so huge and heavy... 65 lbs!! I guess they couldn't get it to work with any sort of rotation. Well both Painter and Photoshop support software rotation, but those aren't the only apps that people use with a Cintiq.

@ChristopherJacques Try a VESA arm mount. Make sure it's sturdy though. I've seen a few illustrators using those arm mounts before with older Cintiq's, and they allow for a lot of freedom in how you use it. You can sit back in your chair with it on your lap for example. If it's an issue there's usually a solution.
