Ok my mistake, they've always done Christian music. I just checked the internet. Didn't know that because tbh I sometimes struggle to see the connection. -shrugs- It means something to God

Hi Anifreek posted a comment a month ago that said the meaning of the song wrong. I have to disagree. I know they havent always done Christian music, but Skillet have actually produced quite a few Christian songs. Just a different style from typical Christian music. Given that the Christian faith is all about love(I mean how more loved could the world be that sending your own Son to die for us?)I'd say it's plausible that it is about God's friendship with us and not just a regular one.

Well, it's much easier to draw it literally than figuratively...Also it's not horribly hard to understand the real meaning of the phrase, so it's not exactly needed to draw it figuratively to be understood.

not to be harsh or anything at all...but Skillet *IS* a Christian band and pretty much all of their music (not EVERY song) but MOST of it, has Christian themes in/behind it...for example, "Rebirthing" is about being reborn as a Christian. :)
