Everytime I hear this song, I cry, because it's like it was written for my little sister Julie. She was just short of eleven months younger than I am and, until last year, I didn't remember a Christmas without her. Everything in the song describes Julie and now, I feel like half of me is missing at Christmas-and everyday. I love you, Julie!!!!

Thanks. It is a hard time of year. I miss him very much. My mother just passed away 2 years ago about the same time. It is just missing them both at the same time. But I am accepting of the idea of next year being easier. Thanks again. I am working on a cookbook to sell for raising money for Alzheimers research. Hope to have it ready by March 2012. I am also taking recipes.

Thank you for posting this. I've been hearing it on the radio but didn't know who sang it. I lost my brother to suicide a few years ago and still miss him. It especially touched me when it said someone I played with and finished my sentences. As someone else below said, we all have someone we miss.
