  • wouldnt it be easier to use a vocoder unit for frequency splitting!?

  • oh im frying 'em myself, thank you;D

  • Very cool, question though. Would you prefer to master using multiband compression or the Peff midside varimou patch?

  • this is one of the most usefull tutorial i have seen...tnx man,now i have realy fat sound, still dinamics are here:)

gonna watch all of your videos,as you say knowledge is power:)

  • you just start out of nowhere i dont even know what the hell is going on you just jump right into shit without even explaining what you did to previous things

  • Nice work James! I love the fact that this weeks is more advanced - damn good brain food :D. Never tried using multiband comp on final mixes before but now it seems *absolutely vital* since i make drum & bass which is all about manipulating certain frequencies and being kept as clean as possible. Thanks again man, looking forward to next weeks :D

  • Thanks JB

  • So glad I bought this software, thank you James for highlighting it's potential with this series.

  • multiband compression in other daw is much easier

  • @deathlord109 This tutorial shows the process. there are already multiband compressors in the Factory Soundbank that you can use without needing to create one. But.. knowledge is power.. when you know how something is created, you can then customize it to work how/what you want (multiband effects anyone?). Try to do THAT in other DAWs.

  • yeah maybe youre right but it depends on what kinda music you wanna create

  • @jamesbernardmusic

    Great stuff!

Hmm... So record is a daw? ;)

  • Great work as usual, James -- thanks.

  • A big THANKS James Bernard !!!

  • Amazing. The possibility of the Reason device is infinity!

  • I've got reason/record, and what I'd really love to be able to set up is something that could replicate a keyboard harmoniser, like the Eventide H910, which Godley and Creme used on 'I Pity Inanimate Objects' to pitch shift their voices in real time using a keyboard.

  • nicee :) thank you

  • Fun!

Propellerheads should really make a multiband compressor.

  • @tomaselvis i think they just did ;)

  • @Rane909

    Jippiiiii!!!! :)

  • @tomaselvis

Reason should allow to use external plugins. They lag in progress :(

  • @Eumusic1

Not necessary. Reason is stable just because it's a closed system.
