what a beautiful tragedy....thanx for posting this, jane seymore was my favorite queen..i wish she wouldve lived longer, but i somehow think that god thought she was waay too good for henry, so he took her. karma for all the innocent lives he took..idk.

After watching the execution of Anne - I started to hate Jane and Henry. Mostly Henry - because right after her execution the only fucking thing he could do was eating a pie formed as a swan. But I hate Jane - I don't know why, but I do.

Actually, what people forget is Anne wasnt popular in England at this time, she was called a whore/witch and this was before her execution. Also, Anne was responsible for Thomas Mores death, a close friend of Henrys and Thomas Wolseys, who was like a father to Henry. So the people that say she did no wrong, and did alot for England, she did not, she gave birth to Elizabeth and that was that. Nobody knew then that she would be a great Queen, and that Edward would die young.

Anne was really misunderstood woman. She was good person too but she was feisty, independent minded, strong willed and really smart.

Jane never did anything for elizabeth she called her mark smeatens basterd and helped get her mothers head cut off she was only ever nice to mary cause she was catholic.

She flirted with Henry when Anne was pregnant! That was cruel. Jane definitely wasn't saint but The Tudors makes Jane saint.

Jane was actually neutral when it came to Elizabeth, however Elizabeth did attend Xmas celebrations in 1536 at Court w/ Jane and Mary, Jane also had Elizabeth attend Edward's christening, but she was still AB's daughter, so Jane had to be careful, Elizabeth was a sore subject for Henry.

Jane also cared for Mary, and not because she was Catholic, the two became good friends, and Jane treated Mary as her equal.

I agree with you that jane wasnt cold norm to warm towards Elizabeth. I think it unlikely Jane would called Elizabeth a bastard, as She was quite close with Mary, and despite all the complications, Mary loved Elizabeth.

I think that is quite unfair to say. Anne wasnt wealth hungry, afterall she wanted to marry Henry Percy, but after Henry made clear he wasnt going to give up, she made the best of it. As for being Angry ( at times) who could blame her? during her reign she was under enormous pressure. And to say she was selfish is ridiclious, she often gave elms to the poor and loved her daughter very much. As for jane, I have no respect for a woman who stepped to her throne in blood.

@MutatioAesa anne did the same thing to Katherine as jane did to anne, the women in that time didnt had a choice when there family says they have to do something they do it. anne wasnt a angel but she sure as hell wasnt a devil.. anne is my favorite queen because she was/is really facinating but dont judge jane, if anne would have been in janes position she would have done the same thing.. read the books about this time it will gave you a better look on the true story, this serie romanticized

Jane is one of my favorite queens. she showed Mary kindness when she needed it most, she was kind to Elizabeth. She was generous, kind... and she made Henry happy. RIP Queen Jane Seymour.

Jane was the true Love of Henry VIII.Her epitaph confirms it,as well as the fact that the King was buried beside her.She was a warm,generous and kind Soul-all that Ann wasnt.Ann and Henry´s relationship was based on passion,sex,primal basic needs..while with Jane,the love was peacefull,calm and with trust and respect from both sides.

Ummm - yes I think she did, She employed the same tactics as Anne did to catch herself a KIng. She woulnt let Henry near her bed unless it was as her husband - and that was the same thing that Anne did - though to be fair to Jane , I think she did feel some guilt at depriving a 3 year old little girl of her mother, as she was not only noted to be kind to Mary but also to Elizabeth and helped to reunitedElizabeth with her father -

Aww i love Jane. She was so caring and put everyone else's happiness before her own. A gracious, kind, self sacrificing woman. I'm just sad there wasn't much time devoted to her. I was just getting use to Annabelle's portrayal of her.

When I saw Jane's face at 0:50, I couldn't helped wondering if she knew that she was going to die after giving birth... Jane Seymour is such a gracious lady to tell the mistress to give comfort to Henry if anything happened to her... The last scene was very sad and teary...
