  • sounds amazing! never knew tbi 305 sounded so good. how does it perform? happy with it? burns any rubber????

  • Sex for the ears!

  • depuis la suisse?

  • Nice V8 guy =)

  • supeRRR

  • sry 2 tell u but ur pipes are not well attached... still sound like GOD!!!.....

  • what year car is that?

  • Music for my ears. The best sound that I heard in a car.

I want one who sounds like this!

  • wow nothing in life beats that sound right there.

  • Beautiful! With music like that, who needs a radio?

  • I don't think a radio is usefull with that car...

    Just too sweet :D

  • I have an '89 TBI Firebird.

Sometimes I turn off the radio so that I can listen to the engine :)

  • like a lion :D

  • that sounds soo fucking sweet...=)

  • Nothin sounds better then an engine with mid length headers, an off road h-pipe and 2 chamber flowmaster mufflers!

  • beat that japan

  • Böös geile V8 Sound

    ;-)

  • great.

  • that wine is either the alternator/generator, or the fuel pump

  • atleast a brother from across the pond is rockin a badass car.. big props man.. bitch sounds like a new corvette

  • OMFG!!!! NICE sound LOVE it!!!

  • Hammersound!

  • sounds sexy :D

  • on... i am gonna guess 165's tops, might as well run bike tires

  • GUYS, mine is a T BBBB I !! Not TPI! So the whine could not be the TPI!!!

  • @theigorigorigor the tpi is only 20 percent faster if that means anything 195hp vs his 170hp ohh big difference not really and some had 220hp

  • The TPI is very loud on those cars. You can really hear it at about 3500rpms.

  • What's making that high pitch whine? Is that the TPI?

  • The market for muscle cars is going down. The rich guys had their fun. Not knocking musclecars but they are 30-40 year technology. The problem isn't legit collector cars it's the price for ordinary, very common non special cars are priced way too high. I saw an ad for a 78 granada for $5k. WHY? Any car 20 yaers or older people consider collector cars and ask outrageous amounts for.

  • These car's beat mustang's all day

  • Richtig geiler Sound

  • Ja Mann, so muss ein V8 klingen! Es gibt auch keinen besseren Motor als einen V8.

  • wow !! really good sound

  • geiler sound!

  • Ez nagyon kemény!!!

  • en schwizer halt ;-)

    ne echt hammer sound!

  • Man there's just somthing about the sound of a V8... It's DANGEROUS!

  • sinceramente lo que hago es poner este video ponerme los cascos piooner de DJ cerrar los ojos y subir el volumen al maximo, es una maravilla, es musica para mis oidos

  • my jetta vr6 would smoke you!

  • perhaps. But it sounds like a piece of shit. If i want smoke you, i'll take my Regal GS!!!!!

  • the only thing worse than an asian ricer is a german one.. what the hell is with this new generation? everyone and their mother has a VW or audi, get somethin with balls dude.. or at least something that SOUNDS or looks like it has balls

  • my Dart Sport will out run what u got..it aint a vw or audi..it doesnt sound like a fuckin ricer..where the hell are ur brains

  • look at this kids vids, his "dart sport" isnt even fully restored and looks like its fresh from the junk yard. yea keep trying kid. when you finally get it finished then talk.

  • actually dipshit..all i need is a radiator and tags..then u can fly ur bitch ass from where ever down to good ole usa and race with the big guns

  • Dude calm down. I'm all "hey USA we're the shizzit" with ya but #1, go meet some people from Germany or Sweden, you will find they are not fat dorks wearing speedos, they are cool enough to steal your g/f at will. #2, bragging with "well my ***** kicks ass" is viable if you don't have the K-mart of muscle cars, and I bet your mopar had a six in it from the factory. In other words please talk better smack for the home team, huh?

  • its got a race block sunny boy

  • Talking down to someone looks alot more credible without the spelling errors. That's "sonny boy", and in that case you're fartin' dust because I'm 45.

Well anyway those of us that actually drive our cars, not get on the internet and talk about driving someday, bought the heads and pistons too,not just a block. And I STILL bet it came with a 6 originally.

  • my Dart was a 6. the Charger was a 400. Darts got 44,114 original miles. ever restore a car. and when i get mine done ill have videos trust me. ull see some wild shit. my cars got torque like a bitch

  • Yeah I've restored a car, it was a bitch and took over most of my life. '65 Cadillac Miller Meteor Combo Hearse. Got rid of it about 3 years ago, it got about 6 mpg with the 429. So simple a monkey could tune it. I'm sure your ride will be sweet, I just dissed it because I like GM's so I had to. Though I like late '60's Chargers- what few CBS didn't paint orange and destroy.

  • yea. they left m all out n fields n shit. and the only good thing about that is u dont need to pay gas. but theres an upside. all the old cars people didnt want in the mid 70s and all that, people WANT them now. everyone wants a muscle car or street rod now. just on my street theres a 78 Firebird. 72 Nova , 69 Camaro, 66 Chrysler 300, 75 Chrysler Newport, 73 Dart and 72 Charger. my guess is in about 20 years all ull see is classics. i can only hope.

  • Yeah but it'll be like what happened to Harleys... rich yuppies will start buyin' em up and price them out of the reach of the blue collar people who were faithful. Also the Japanese buy all the muscle cars here in Cali and crate them up and send them to Japan to store for 20 years. They are smart and will sell them back to us! (If only I had a large garage and a few grand 20 years ago...)

  • seriously. a 70 Hemi Cuda with all the options was like 4600 brand new back then. hell if u were a millionaire back then. wooo. hell yea dude. i like the 20 car garage idea. all hemis a 440 six packs and 340 Demons n dart Swingers. not to mention a few others. 69 Trans Am. 69 Camaro Copo 427. 70 Camaro Baldwin Motion. Gto Judge 400. 70 cuda Hemi. 68 Coronet RT has to be one of my favorite cars. theres one down the street rottin away. 106k miles.

  • Didn't a Cuda hemi converible sell for $1.5 million last year?

anyway for the space in cu.ft. I think a better investment would be original Star Wars figurines... but then you'd be a DOLL collector so F that.

  • idk. there was a 71 Hemi Convertible Cuda. been a dragster since it was bought brand new. all origanal. the options list is PACKED. they sold it for 3million a year or so back on Barrett Jackson

  • Yeah that was the one, set a record for all muscle cars. Seems to have attracted attention (and value) to similar mopars. There ia a Youtube video on the 71 Indy 500 Challenger that crashed on raceday and there was a lot of discussion on that year's engines and the values of them.

  • Funny you mention the Coronet. A guy at my high school had a mint '66 Coronet 500 fastback, metallic copper with Cragar SS rims. This was in 1979 when the car was considered junkyard materiel on styling alone so everyone thought he was goofy. I liked it. Obviously he was way ahead of his time, it's a rare classic now and considered (with the 68+ Chargers) one of Mopar's best lookers.

  • yea. my friend knows some body with a 66 Coronet i think it was. 426 HEMI car. origanal. that hemi was built dude. 800 horses. he launched it at 3500 and snapped both motormounts. its badass. my nabor has a 68 Coronet RT. sum1 offered him 10 grand he didnt sell. only like 10,289 of them made or some small number like that. even less with 440 autos. 106k miles. its all original

  • Hey nice talkin' to ya. Sorry I dissed your car, good luck on it. If you ever post a video on it, let me know!

  • ive got videos of my car. i DOUBT ill ever see that coronet with the 426 hemi in it. it should be road ready sometime around may to june

  • @TerribleFlaite asshole

  • mechanical BACH !... :D

  • That definitely sounds nice. Id take it over my 92 camaro.

  • Great Sound! I Want one car that sounds like that.

  • I love this sound !!

  • music

  • hey man sweet ride, u hav to tell me what u did to it, ive got a stock 91 firebird. its my new project car, i just finished the interior and paint, but i need sugestions on how to get my stock 305 sounding good

  • there are a lot of exhaust options but be careful modding that TPI. It needs some back pressure to scavenge the cylinders of the spent exhaust, if you open up the pipes without corresponding mods in the intake it will have less power and run hot. GM knew what it was doing. Oh and make sure you never run the car with a missing/damaged air dam. You do have about 40hp you can gain cheap.

  • I just love that sound!

  • man that car sounds sweet

  • Sweet mother !

  • this is making my eyes water and the sad thing is, IM NOT KIDDING!

Great car by the sounds of things, she is running nicely!

  • Music.

Music ringing in my bloody ears....

  • i doubt that much, maybe 15 max.

  • sounds good, hook me up (Y)

  • hehe lol no problem about the 2 hp ;-)

More videos will follow, im going to a meeting this sunday. And if the weather is godd, i'll do some more vids!

  • anymore vidoes?

  • oh and it sounds really good.

  • agreed 255pounds worth, sry for chincing you on 2 hp lol, i have an 89 myself.

  • Correct @ Jeff855

It's a 1991 Firebird 5.0 V8 TBI with 172 hp. But it has more torque than hp, and thats what counts! ;-)

  • with an open exhaust it should bump you up to 200hp at least

  • but only with with other headers and another catalysator and a 3" catback exhaust system. Then perhaps but i dont think about 200 hp. max 190!

  • not a very detailed question buddy, 2.8L V6->135, 3.4L V6->160, 3.8L V6->200, 5L TBI (this one)->170, 5L TPI->200, 350TPI->230, 350LT1->275

  • not a very detailed question buddy, 2.8L V6->135, 3.4L V6->160, 3.8L V6->200, 5L TBI (this one)->170, 5L TPI->200, 350TPI->230, 350LT1->275

  • how many horse power? firebird v6 is 200 hp but what about firebird v8? how many hp?

  • Nothing expensive. I got another muffler (think its a terminator) and 3" from the mufflet to the end. Thats all. I was very surprised about the sound. The cheapest exhaust systems are the best ;)

  • Dude, I have a 1991 tbi also, but my car doesn't sound like that! What did you do to get it to sound like that?

  • again:

  • thx. I have you one pic. Its shitty, because it rained. But i'll do more pics if the weather ist better here.
