  • Is he animatranic or a costume

  • How does this work?

  • This is just so awwwwesome! HOMG

  • I don't care if it is pre-recorded or live or whatever! I just LOVE Mickey talks now <3 !!! That's AMAZING!

  • i have a great joke there was a cat and mouse and the cat ate the mouse hahahaha

  • i don't like the pre recorded version at all i like the personalized one

  • wheres his tail?

  • The first time I see a talking Mickey

  • People need to stop thinking about the negitives and just be glad u got to meet him

  • some question he cant ans

  • In the future, all mascot costumes will be like this :)

  • It's a nice idea and I'm sure kids think it's cute but it definitely needs some work. It's very fixed and delayed at times.

  • I always feel so awkward taking pictures with or talking to characters like this because I know there's a real person inside who has to deal with it.

  • @quadboat26 when feeling awkward, smoke some weed!

  • If I had only seen this... it would be awesome... but after seeing the one in the infamous park test... it was way better hands down. This one seems awkward and delayed, and unable to respond to everything, and feel like he's ignoring you. The other one seemed real and like they were just talking with a voice modulator that sounded perfect.

  • he was live a year ago only once. he has been prerecorded since because it's hard to have the vo actor there at all times.

  • LMAO! I feel if mickey were to really talk to you he really would ignore a lot of questions, kindalike meeting a real celebrity, Lets just take a picture and move on, I have other fans too see

  • Needs more phrases and interactive software.

  • When I went to him it didn't seem like he had a delay or have a pre-recorded message. I felt that convo went smoothly!

  • @MissADuante At the Expo, Disney was testing two variations of talking Mickey Mouse. I only saw this one, which uses pre-recorded lines, but another was present that featured live dialogue. It sounds like you got to talk to the "better" one. I wish I had!

  • @InsideTheMagic I like the live dialogue one better.

  • My favorite part is the things he does while he signs his autograph. In this one he hummed and in another video he was spelling out Mickey Mouse and it was ADORABLE!

  • I'm sorry but i honestly don't like this :P I like Mickey silent Idk it just doesn't seem right maybe it'll grow on me....it's almost creepy and I LOVE mickey <3

  • at 2:32 the guy put mickey to the test! lol

  • Aww he's so cute! ^-^

  • i like it! i think once they get the audio down with more responses it'll be pretty cool!

  • Good idea, but I still think it's creepy. I prefer my Mickey silent.

  • blates not pre recorded :L

  • Hopefully this is just technology that will continue to improve as they get more phrases etc. From the videos I've seen, the cast member seems to be stepping in quite frequently to help answer questions that may not be answerable by the available vocabulary.

  • this is so cool! i'm 16 and i got excited seeing this! i hope they'll put talking mickey in disneyworld someday! :)

  • Just wait i am sure new versions will be uber creepy

  • I wonder how they get the talk back. It's a recording, sure, but how they select them

  • Is cute! But a recorded track does not make a big difference, maybe a 4 year old child would enjoy it. I would place the talking Mickey doing shows at the parks, but as a meet and greet, not a good idea.

  • How does that work and it sounds like it is a recording

  • I think this Mickey has pre-recorded audio. But I did remember seeing a video of Mickey at Toontown at Disneyland that had personalized responses, etc. I think it was only a beta version though.

  • @FantasmicMouse While standing there, I heard several people say the same thing to the nearby cast members. This is, indeed, a different variation of talking Mickey. The totally talkative one in that infamous in-park test caught on YouTube has only since come out for special events on stage, conversing with executives and celebrities. This version, with pre-recorded lines, is the one that's been tested in Toontown and now at the D23 Expo. The future of talking Mickey is unknown.

  • @InsideTheMagic Why not have a castmember close by with controls to talk into a mic and control Mickeys mouth like the garbage can in tomorrowland

  • Reminds me of chuckee cheese

  • So it's just a guy in a costume with a speaker inside it that spouts pre recorded lines? Hm. Everyone was talking about this like it was something exciting.

  • Will there be a talking Mickey at the parks one day?

  • Ok this is weird. I saw a video of one of these when they first started using them and it most definitely was NOT pre-recorded. Why the heck does this one seem to be?

  • It's awesome, just with talking it'll ruin how talented at pantomime and personallity and character without talking CMs are! It's like making a (non-creepy) mime be able to talk! Would you even still be able to call it a mime or a clown?

  • Disney is and always will be one of the world's greatest innovators. This just proves they look at nearly every aspect of a park experience!

  • I love this Mickey. He is so magical and I love him! I'm 15 and I got so excited seeing him speak!

  • I can sound like Mickey! Hire ME! HIRE ME!!! lol

  • I guess Pre-Recorded Talking Mickey is better then Mickey "saving his voice".

It still not as good as Non pre recored talking Mickey we seen in the pass.

  • I don't like the talking....

  • you have no idea how excited i get when i see you've uploaded a new video ! i love disney <3

  • There's a HUGE delay when you say something to him, it's definitely pre-recorded

  • @salvationarmyfan13 its to be expected, give them a year and it'll be a lot more interactive.

  • @salvationarmyfan13 Yeah, I'm a bit shifty-eyed.

  • i don't care for this. it was so much cuter and better when he didn't talk. and i think you can tell that itsdelayed and pre recorded so it will probably ruin the magic for kids past the age of 6ish. my opinion

  • @chawnyfez Yeah, i agree. You know hes using some sort of soundboard and it just doesn't really flow.

  • @chawnyfez They used to talk in the 70s, but that ended. My mom was friends with goofy and he talked all the time. However their mouths didn't move lol.

  • @chawnyfez I was a little scared of the non-moving Character faces when I was a kid. The frozen smiles were kind of creepy. It's nice to see them blinking and talking, even if there is a little bit of a delay.

  • @chawnyfez It's progress, it makes him more believable than just a stationary mask.

  • @Clay3613 Sorry to disagree with you here but it seems like more of a digression in terms of Mickey looking "real" which he is by the way. This looks like one of those toys you can buy at wal mart and press a button to hear him say phrases. Not good. I would not waste my time meeting this "thing". Sorry Disney.

  • @chawnyfez I agree with you completely. This makes Mickey Mouse look fake =( Where's the REAL Mickey, the one that answers as soon as you ask him a question, even if it isn't vocal?

  • Alright, this is gonna blow kid's minds!
