I would never want to store all my data and programs on "the cloud". although I think that is where we are going, like how it is depicted in Star Trek The Next Generation, where no one has a PC, just a terminal of the ship's computer. But I would prefer to have an actual PC, so I can have the OS I want and store my own data on my own system.

Well, I agree with part of it... I don't like the googleChrome browser either... but if you look at the popularity of the new g-phones, or anything by HTC using Andriod, you'll see that its all gOS, and works great. Granted I have not tried gOS yet, but I can't imagine that it would be horrible.
