Really pulled it off well. When this one's done right the individual instruments all become submerged and it's just one, vast, breathing organism. Dark. Rich. This is very fine; not rushed at all... just the gentlest touch from the podium, so I'd think he's one of the older guys who had his players very attuned to him to manage what he did here. Gives me the sniffles.
