  • ditch that mustache Robert.

  • Mean Streets! Harvey and DeNiro! Awesome movie!

  • I think it's kind of an insult to watch Harvey get the words from a small piece of paper while saluting Rober de Niro.

  • Harvey Keitel & Robert DeNiro {Two Of The Best Cinematic Actors Of Our Generation}

  • please, with a sugar on top. clean the fucking car

  • i want to look as these guys when i get older. :D

  • Great tribute. Where was deniro's wife?

  • they both had the long hair and the beards for bridge at san luis rey, i think it was the last time they worked together. movie could have been better

  • Can someone please clarify if that is Susanna Hoffs of The Bangles at 1:00 ?

  • Good old friends

  • one of the greatest actors of all times

  • I actually watched the full 1 minute ad because it gave me the option to skip

  • @1979dimkar

    mmmmm na

  • The opposite of a De Niro roast.

  • I don't get it, why doesn't Al Pacino salute Robert De Niro??

  • You funny, you a funny guy! ... But looks aren't everything!

DeNiro, Pacino, Keitel, all of those original movie gangsters were such interesting and amazing actors. It's too bad they don't get as many groundbreaking roles these days. Oh yeah, and people need to mention From Dusk till Dawn in the comments.

  • 7 people need to not start suckin each others dicks

  • @ShutupHollywood STFU you limp-dick CON douchebag. I would love to kick you're teeth in and cave in your worthless CON skull with a brick. CON garbage like you is why America is so fucked-up today. The sooner we get rid of CON jerk-offs like you, the better off the whole country will be.

  • @ShutupHollywood You told them alright *yawn*

  • Mr White is still cool!

  • It's The Wolf!!!

  • I don't know anybody named Iris

  • Believe it or not to some of the people posting here...Harvey has done more movies than just Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

  • @TheHockeyCentral Check out Fingers, the Last Temptation of Christ, the Bad Lieutenant, the Piano and Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore.

  • @Gossage54 Not many people know about Fingers. I saw it in the movies when I was in high school. Sleeper movie that gets no recognition. Check out, Thats the Way of the World, (pretty sure thats the name of it) Harvey plays a record producer. Very sappy flick but a must see for Keitel fans.

  • @TheHockeyCentral Of course. Bad Lieutenant and Mean Streets are two that come to mind.

  • Wow-Harvey's rocking the Charles Dickens look there.

  • Harvey lost a lot of jobs thanks to Mr. DeNiro.

He is a bold and noble man for making this speech.

I would not have watched "Taxi-Driver" if Harvey had played Travis and Robert got "belly-shot like a bitch".

    Harvey bailed on "Apocalypse Now"!

I guess he never wanted to be famous... just infamous!

  • I'm Mr. Wolf. I solve problems

  • unbelievable his voice and his role on thelma & luoise as policeman, and the final scene runing back thelma & louise,s car trying save her.

  • LOOK! ENOUGH OF THIS MR. WHITE SHIT!

  • Call him Winston...

  • Harvey is just as good as him if not better

  • When you have these events you weed out the people that don't seem worthy of presenting or giving long winded speeches about the the person they're presenting for. In this case it's one I can watch over and over again, De Niro's face when Keitel walks out shows such respect. In this case it's not just two actors who are on the same playing field it's two actors who are from the same generation and have come up through the ranks together. BTW watch Harvey's Bad Lieutenant not Cage's. Amazing.

  • holy crap these are good

  • lovin the karl marx look

  • Rob and Harvey: The best of the best.

  • At 0:59 Who is that woman?? God she's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TonyGonzo1988 That is Susannah Hoffs, former lead singer of 80s girl-band The Bangles. Look up some of their videos.

  • Bobby is tha man!!!!

  • Wow. A rare serious tribute and what a tribute!

  • they both were in taxi driver aswell ;)

  • hahaha robert de niro looks like albert einstein 0:18 lmfao

  • @TheNeroNoctis he does aswell!! haha

  • forgot the name:1.32..if someone would tell me he is an alien that lives among us..i would believe him ;)

  • lol the haircuts and beard are so weird :P

  • @ElPsychochillero Harvey Keitel had that haircut and beard because he was working on a film at the time, called "The Bridge of San Luis Rey", which also had De Niro in it, based on Thornton Wilder's novel. It is a period piece.

  • I expected more from Keitel as has probably done the maximum movies with De Niro..

  • and the terroists he is referring to is 9/11

  • Keitel is very underated but after seeing him in Mean Streets he become one of my favourite actors!

  • When is Harvey Keitel going to get his AFI Life achievement Award? huh? WHEN?!

  • robert deniro looks like albert einstein

  • I want to see Pacino, DeNiro, Keitel, Pesci and Scorcese work together.

  • @arthuronfacebook and the movie will have a title the grandfathers .....

  • @arthuronfacebook never happen. i have being waiting for decades. the closet i got to film nirvana was the Heat. please watch the 5- 10 minutes where pacino and de niro are together its bloody cinema magic.

  • the reason the u.s got bombed is because of the constant support of israel for over 60 years, usama bombed them to hurt the ones who fund israel

  • Im Hungry lets get a taco...

  • Man I think he should have walked on stage in slow motion with sunglasses , a toothpick, and Little Green Bag playing in the background. That would have been badass!

  • I don't know why, but I love his voice =)

  • Harvey is the man!

  • Susanna Hoffs! :-)

  • Aren't people exaggerating a little bit? I mean, I love Deniro and I think he's great, but he is one among many. Harvey Keitel is great, Dustin Hoffman is great, Chris Cooper is great, Pacino is great...

  • @indgiu Pacino got a Life Achievement Award

  • whenever people ask why bob is taking all those paycheck roles, now you know why, fucking tribeca takes a lot of money to run

  • The Wolfe

  • Nice to see Keitel's still having trouble learning his lines.

  • if only they were a little less bigheaded -- american actors appear twice as pathetic as in europe the politicians do!

  • i love harvey keitel. he's such a great actor.

  • 4 dislikes. seriously man, fuck off. really. fuck off. u dicks.

  • Hello, Mr. Wolf

  • great actors saluting a great actor

  • the best response to a terrorist attack is a film festival. Only in hollywood would that get an applause

  • @adityasheth8 lol

  • Colonel Sanders! We found you!

  • awesome dudes, awesome facial hair

  • Keitel doesn't get the recognition he deserves, But Robert De Niro is fantastic

  • I feel that DeNiro was a little bit responsible for Keitel's underrated career.

  • Keitel was the Scorsese's Bob Deniro before Deniro showed up!

  • @SkaramandraX De Niro was Scorsese´s Bob Deniro before Dicaprio showed up!

  • what the hell, is he trying out for a trotsky movie?

  • So, he did not even bother to practice his speech at home, he prefered simply writing it down and carelessly reading it out loud on stage.

  • WHATS WITH THE ADS NOWDAYS!

  • Great actor. I like both but I prefer Keitel than DeNiro.

  • Bob looks bored by this point lol

  • Mr. Wolf

  • wow how professional, he wrote a whole speech compared to those other bullshitters i ve heard

  • Holy shit, even The Wolf pays his respects to Bobby.

  • al pacino should sit beside him

  • what was that date again? september 10th?

  • Legend pays tribute to another Legend

  • i like harvey....hes the actor who can blend to the movie perfectly

  • I loved his preformance in resevoir dogs and pulp fiction, and i dont think they should have introduced him as he was in mean streets, I thought he was good in taxi driver. But he was also leading in mean streets soo i guess it makes sense

  • @BARNEYRAPEDME69 They said that he was in Mean Streets because he was in it with Robert De Niro.

  • why wasn't al pacino there?

  • @1truthfulman he was there. I saw him crawling around under the tables.

  • @Kurplutzo lol

  • @1truthfulman dude I must of been hammered when i watched this lol.

  • Much respect for people like Keitel, daniel day lewis, de niro.

Very meticulous in their choices of movies.

  • @Symmetryful De niro? Are you serious? xDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • @wailor123 lol, De Niro is not "Very meticulous in their choices of movies" he made a lot of crap lately

  • HARVEY KEITEL...BAD LIEUTENANT....SHOULDVE BEEN NOMINATED FOR AN OSACAR FOR THAT

  • DeNiro is really very modest in public. He's a passionate actor, and he's honored by this whole presentation, but he's more about doing and being out there.

  • De Niro looks utterly bored.

  • @TheDicamillo deniro looks bored since 1995, the year he acted his last great roles, in casino and heat.

  • @lesassassins I know. He needs to make another film with Scorsese again.

  • HarveyK is well known and loved actor appeared in millions of movies ..calling him underrated is just stupid

  • This man is a legend!

  • 9/11

  • He was such a scumbag in Taxi Driver hahahhaa.

  • @beeryce88 what a dumb comment

  • @lickstickly Harvey Keitel wasn't a scumbag? I don't get it, how was it a dumb comment.

"You ain't ever had pussy like that before, she'll make your dick explode" Him talking about Jodie Foster who played a 12 year old prostitute in the movie. He PLAYED a good scumbag... He's not one in real life...

Please explain how that was a dumb comment...

  • @beeryce88 Yeah it's called acting.

  • Its funny to watch this and see Harvey and Robert old and then watch Mean Streets when they were so young.

  • @fizguy: Right and "Taxi Driver"

  • lol

some 10 years to go and he could play santa :D

  • Harvey Keitel: a legend in his own right.

  • yep..mean streets,reservoir dogs,pulp fiction,taxi driver..quite a resume in his own right

  • Uno splendido attore; a wonderful actor

  • Harvey Keitel is the most underrated actor of all time

  • thats cause he is very selective about the movies he is in. and i totally agree. most underrated actor.

  • @93johnk Two words: Little Fockers. Four more: direct-to-video releases.

He's amazing if he's given the right material to work with, but he's done a lot of crap, too.

  • @93johnk yeah very selective. MONKEY TROUBLE?????????????

  • @93johnk little nicky? national treasure 2?

  • @sucramnipp little fockers?

  • @VegemiteVigilante agreed

  • He's not underrated, everyone knows he's a terrific actor.

He's just eclectic in his choices, he seems not to give a damn about fame, self promotion or "what will they think".

He does what he wants to do and he's got the audience respect.

    My Honest Opinion...

  • @chosanzapan yeah, you're right. The word "underrated" is often misused.

  • @Descalabro I agree, Descalabro. Hollywood still offer him interesting plays, he is one of the co-directors of the Actors Studio, he's got the audience credit... So who is "underrating" him?

Maybe he just doesn't want to play "the star" with the media, but keep away from the spotlight and have a private life.

  • @VegemiteVigilante Defintitly one of the most underrated. also Edward Norton, Jeremy Irons and Steve Buscemi.

  • @VegemiteVigilante he's like THE underdog

  • @VegemiteVigilante I disagree, respectfully. In my opinion, Gary Oldman is the most underrated actor of all time

  • @VegemiteVigilante he's so not underrated. everyone in the business knows he's fucking great!!!

  • @VegemiteVigilante very true. our generation needs to recognize actors like Harvey as true professional actors. films and actors these days are mediocre at best and its saddening to see people like Keitel and De Niro aging, and having no respectable actors to hand the torch to.

  • @VegemiteVigilante the right word is underESTIMATED

  • @VegemiteVigilante

    Gary Oldman.

  • @VegemiteVigilante hmmm...Thats not true...Football player can be underrated, but an actor,no.Everyone in the bussines and people who know cinema know that he is pure class, like de niro or sean penn...

  • @VegemiteVigilante Thumbs don’t lie ;-)

  • @VegemiteVigilante

So, so, so, so, so fucking true.

  • the 9-11-01 attacks on america.

  • plz post the rest of the show AFI we De Niro fans are dying to see it .........

  • Which terrorist attack two years ago is he talking about?

  • This originally aired in 2003.

  • @afi trolled

  • @afi Yeah, but what terrorist attack that happened two years ago - in '09 - is he referring to?

  • @ChalkboardFatass This is from 03

  • he received the award in 2003 so I guess he's talking about 9/11

  • @32doors The one where we invaded iraq the 2nd time.

  • @32doors How many recent terrorist attacks do you know of in America...?

  • @32doors

I think this actually aired in 1979. The incident he referred to was the Atocha Massacre.

  • @borjon23 You cannot be serious. '79? Really? Look at the ages of Harvey and Bob ffs and then how old they were in 79.

  • @Coemghen67

    Indeed, I cannot be.

  • @32doors

the concept of time eludes yet another poor soul!

  • pls be a good fella and someone PLEASE post the rest of this show? Ive been waiting forever to catch this show. deniro is the greatest artist alive today. noone digs deeper than deniro. the name itself is a trademark that means utter committment respect dedication and infinitely more, an uber legend, a champion in every sense of the word.

  • Robert De Niro is one of the best actors ever, what ever role he plays it's always a great pleasure to watch him :)
