I think I heard somewhere that the firebird he's playing might replace the BC Rich Mockingbird he's been using. I know he had a Jackson firebird in the early days. There are pictures of it on the inner sleeve of Appetite and in Marc Canter's book.

The firebird isn't the most attractive, but it has a great sound due to the pickups and the design of it, being one peice of wood from the headstock to the far side of the body. The have a sound of theirown, bit weird looking though!
