I have a 391ilvl Boomkin with 4T13 pieces, 2511 Haste Rating and 11335 spell power, 16.17 mastery. For some reason, I cannot do more than 25-28k in most fights in Dragon Soul and I've seen many other balance druids, with less gear, doing 29-30k. I basically use the same rotation showed in this video. Any tips or heads up as to why the low amount of dps?, Thanks in advance.

@madrerik I play moonkin myself and you should do this: always keep ur dots up wich means: you refresh them when you enter solar-when you leave solar and when you enter lunar, so make them benefit from mastery, do this and u'll pull 30k+

Some extra tips. It's recommended to save your starfall for lunar eclipse, even with a lower amount of mastery the damage bonus from the eclipse is greater then that of any cool downs you have popped. Also you are casting moonfire then insect swarm. It is recommended that you cast them the opposite way so that your moonfire can benefit from your nature's grace rather than insect swarm which does less damage.

Same for warrior arms, it's way better than Fury atm. I tried arms (with fury stats) and I did pretty much the same dps as Fury, so I'm pretty sure my priority was pretty bad :s

u may wanna add notes that its better to use insect swarm prior to moonfire for the buff

also tell people to get balance power tracker addon its a must have for moonkins

well, as you saw i re-dot when i get my new Eclipse so i can enjoy the haste buff for the eclipse - and i dont know that addon x)

@mbXtremeLive yeah but moonfire is stronger then insect swarm and the first dot u cast in the beginning of the eclipse wont benefit from natures grace buff, so its a dps loss

. and even with dragonwrath proccing now and then its hard to have 100% uptime on natures grace in that u will still have it when u enter new eclipse so u can get a natures graced insect swarm also

balance PT gives u an estimate of the eclipse power u will have after the cast has hit the boss but it will show before
