Well I bought mine yesterday Jarrod and I love it. It runs way cooler and faster to. It has new 45 nanometer chips now compared to your 90 in yours. It also has a feature that the SLIM ONLY HAS AND WILL HAVE were you can use any SONY BRAVIO HD TV'S REMOTE to control the ps3. The thing I hate about it is you cant stand it up and I hate it has no switch on the back. When its turned off its only in stand by to get it fully of you have to uplug it from the wall now

My opinion is that they make a smim version for the same reason that companies put out special editions of dvds even though it's the same film released again. They do it to make money from collectors who want the different versions. I admit I bought my PS2 black system but had to get the silver edition also. I have not even opened the silver one, still glad I bought it though. Yeah I'm crazy maybe. lol

You hold the I/O switch front the front and it shuts down. The switch from the back is just the master power supply.

Y'all are dumb. All cameras use usb cords so u can connect your camera to the usb port on the slim ps3 and get your pictures. U don't need an sd card. And who needs playstation 2 utility? Nobody.
