  • @lyricspint did she have an abdominal hysto? cause that is a big big incision with more blood los.. this one is small and hardly any bleeding to cause complications. sorry about you aunt?

  • @lyricspint You and your family are in my prayers.

  • @lyricspint How did that happen? What caused it?

  • A vaginal hysterectomy is faster, safer, causes less pain and increases patient satisfaction!

    Get informed.

Read the relative clinical statistics on the British Medical Journal.

  • @fastandeffective Thanks for your opinion. (As a urogynecologist, I too am a fan of vaginal hysterectomy.)

  • @fastandeffective what you suggest on a patient who´s never have been pregnant, a vaginal or a laparoscopic? (im a med student)

  • Just had LAVH a week ago due to endometriosis/adomynosis, ovarian cyst on left, and severe bleeding and pain. This is fasinating to watch.

  • I really envy your ability to hold onto your lunch while doing this. I was fine until you starting cauterizing with that instrument. That bubbling and smoking tissue made my stomach churn. I know, I'm a wimp, haha.

  • hello sir.. its really a wonderful video and i thank you for posting it full length.

i am amazed with the way you use the ergonomics to your advantage.i request you to kindly elaborate regarding the specific location and distance between the port position and specially the ipsilateral one which is so good in this video. once again i thank you for this video. eagerly awaiting your reply....

  • @MissMaddy881 yes specially if you haven't been a mother!! after that you dont need the womb for anything else, believe me, i went through this and i'm so happy i did thanks my to my God and the Dr that helped me!!!

  • @notocha i have a great doctor, too. he's very nice and funny. he also takes his time with me. the first time i saw him, he didn't have on a lab coat! he also makes me feel very comfortable. he didn't want to do a hysterectomy, but he will do the laparoscopy if the shot i had yesterday doesn't work. the shot seems to be working fine!

  • Im only fourteen and I have had problems with my ovaries for almost four years now and my doctors were talking about this procedure, im so scared!TT-TT

  • @XbabyXloveXu BE CAREFUL. at your age, I would make sure you get a few opinions from different doctors before you have surgery.

  • @XbabyXloveXu Dont unless its serious because it would eliminate your chances to get pregant in the future

  • I had this surgery in august 2010and omg... i feel like a new woman, no hormone therapy or anything.

  • @TheFightingwarrior im not a doctor but i belive it the clamp instrument, it seals the tissue to avoid bleeding and makes it smoke abit

  • I have a question

I had my RT ovary removed about 7 yrs ago bcause of a big cyst and after that my gallbladder... but since then the pain has only gotten worse, I can't pick up heavy things or rough movements bcause I can fell like a rupture inside and after a few days my belly button starts to bleed. I was told it would take5 yrs 2 heal inside but its been 7. Is this normal? Or is this have to do with something diff? I been 2 the DR and on antib but it only happ when I pick up heavy things.

  • i desparately want to have this done. i've wanted to since i was 12. i'm 24 now. i have endometriosis and am going from one gynecologist to the next trying to find one that will do it. they dont seem to take uterine conditions seriously unless its cancer.

  • hi

    Nice job.

1.Can you elaborate more upon port placement ?

    2. Do you use Ligasure 5mm or 10mm?

    3. Have you tried Harmonic to take uterine vessels?

    Dr. Vikram Ghanekar

  • The presenters of this program sud warn any fake doctors not to try this following the teaching of these professionists. Few who went to sch, aquired the degree etc damaged many fellows all over the world due to carelessness, ingnoracy and bride = mistakes they claimed but a poor person never won this case, you know.

  • I have noticed seious people are in this, please someone tell me: What are the best Hormons should I take? the have removed my womb and ovarious. I have heard some hormons causes cancer. So, please tell me what do do? Mexican doctors say different things. I am confused.

  • @Flacoyo58 : I'm not afraid to use estrogens if a patient has symptoms that would be helped with hormones. I don't routinely prescribe hormones just because someone has their ovaries removed.

  • @DrKevinStepp if testicles were removed there is not a need to routinely prescribe hormones .....

  • @Kortyez it is nonsense ... it is a need in hormones!!!!!!

  • @Flacoyo58 I think that a good healthy diet habbit, and yes thats what they say about cancer, but on my opinion i would not take any drugs (medicine) just take soy product, include them in your diet. Ask your self this question, what does our anccesters took for this? in mexico all ladies that I know and went through their menopause didn't ever took anything for that!!! and they live healthy lifes!!!

  • saw this today! great procedure!

  • Nursing student. never understood the placement of the uterus in the abdomen until i saw this. very helpful narrative!!!

  • This was mind blowing. Thank you so much for posting this. It makes me want to reach my goal of being a surgeon even more.

  • being a nursing student I fond this to be medically significant,, and I was eating dinner while watching ( my desire nursing job is surgery) thanx

  • I had a laparscopy done to remove my right ovary because of a solid cyst & elevated ca125 levels. But my dr read her notes wrong & removed a cyst on my left ovary that looked normal. The right side still has cysts and solid thing. How is it possible to miss this? I am in alot of pain & have fuid in pelvic area & r ovary is enlarged. Its been 3 months since surgery & havent been able to do anything since, due to pain! Please help!

  • @AMBERELLSWORTH1979 get a good lawyer.

  • @AMBERELLSWORTH1979 get a lawyer.

  • don't you use uterine manipulator ?

  • I use VCare or Rumi/KOH

  • I like how you've made a little bubble box indicating where the uterus/oviduct/ etc. are.

  • does removing the ovaries cure polysistic overy syndrome?

my mum would be so happy is this was true......plzzzzzzzzz respond

  • If they are gone it sure would.

I had them. You can usually cure it very simply by dropping some weight instead of surgery. It depends on how severe it is. Usually dropping twenty pounds takes care of it.

I don't know your Moms build so that could be a factor or not.
