He just doesn't seem to get counts. He seems off in every video I watch. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE him. He is totally amazing but I'm a choreographer (different sport) but I've worked with counts, music, dance, time limits, tricks to music for 20 years. He just seems to skate something rough in his head to his music. I don't think he choreographs his programs and moves to specific counts like the others seem to do. And his jumps are so off the chart. Triples are effortless to him. He's amazing

@LittleGoldWoman Maja Plisetskaya about Plu: He is our favourite. He is so good that it looks like nobody can beat him. I can't imagine who can be better. He is a master, a great master who does everything beautifully, brilliantly and artistically. Also, he always looks so confident that we, his fans, cannot be not confident. He skates like an artist who knows that he is the best. Other skaters think that they are good too, but they have doubts and get nervous.

Plushenko on the contrary always knows that he is much better than others, and he convinces all of us in it. He not just "works" on ice, he dances on ice masterly, and that is a wonderful thing to see.

E.S.- What do you think about his appearance?

M.P.- I think his appearance is fine. He is tall, striking, with a handsome body and long arms. He is not some cute guy from the postcard, thanks god he is not!, but he has the perfect face for the stage. The ice is the stage too.

私これS席で見ていました。

ロシア国旗買ったくらい大ファンですし、ニジンスキーも名プロだ­と思うのですが、正直、ニジンスキーはあのまま伝説になってくれ­たほうがよかったかな。

芸術性はもちろん変わらないくらい素晴らしいのですが、やはり技­術的には劣ってきている。

ニジンスキーは技術と体力が最高潮だった時の彼の名プロでした。­

WOW! He did Nijinsky beautifully again in 2010!!! Thank you for bringing that to us. I am so glad I could be witness a legend like this in my lifetime!

He visited Japan on Sept, he asked his fans which program Tango or Nijinsky and the fans chose Nijinsky. He prepared for it 17-18 days making some adjustments for the new rule. And he showed to his many many Japanese fans.

@zykitta Szia! Plushenkonak kellett volna nyernie!!! Igazad van ,nélküle nem az igazi, én is azt akarom, hogy versenyezzen. Azt tudom, hogy ha visszakapja az amatőr státuszát,akkor a 2011-2012-es szezonban újra versenyezni szeretne. Meg ha az egészsége engedi. A szegényes angolod ne izgasson, az enyém még rosszabb ,ettől függetlenül itt írogatok február óta lelkesen. Aki akarja megérti, bár én is gyakran elnézést kérek miatta. Simona nagy szakértő, mindent tud a műkorcsolyáról.

Csak tényleg ha megnézegetem a 2006 előtti versenyeket, amit mostanában egyre inkább megteszek, akkor a mostani színvonal nekem nagyon nagy csalódás..minden férfi a 3-3 kombikkal küzd mostanság(tisztelet a kiv-nek), és 2002-ben azt hiszem volt egy versenyző aki csak egy db 4fordulatosat tudott beletenni a programba, és így csak tizensokadik lett(ezt olvastam valahol, nem tudom igaz-e, de én lehet elhiszem)

Szóval így megértem, hogy ezzel a mezőnnyel Yuna és Asada is(ezt Plushenko nyilatkozta így) felvehetné a versenyt,és  én egy 5.-6. helyet lehet meg is adnék nekik:) Sőt Asada 3A-ja sokkal könnyedebb, mint Evan-é,tehát több pontot ér, azonkívül minden mást tud amit Evan, minusz a lutz, ami helyett ott vannak a csodás forgásai, abban tuti jobb mint Evan, tehát nálam Mao nyerte az olimpiát a férfiak mezőnyében:)( ha Plushenko és Takahashi nem nyerhette:P)

Viszont Rippon nagyon emlékeztet Yuna tavalyi szezon eleji pontjaira....tényleg remélem, nem ő nyeri meg a vb-t...és a progija tényleg nem tetszik, nem értem, miért kell egy férfinek így mozogni?!

Egyébként láttad az nhk trophy-n florent amodio-hosszú programját? nekem nagyon tetszik, pont az előbbiek miatt, hogy egy pörgős program:)

@zykitta Teljesen egyet értek veled. Szeretem látni ki a lány és ki a fiú. Rippon progjamja valóban Yu-Na progjamjához hasonlít, írtam is a videojánál, hogy miért visel nadrágot? Szóval ez a mostani férfi műkori egy nagy semmi, van néhány kedvencem, de azok is be vannak szorítva a pontozás adta lehetőségekbe, így gyakorlatilag mindenki egyforma. Hál istennek itt a youtube, és tudjuk nézni a régi programokat.

OMG ! I watch his at the 2004 worlds lp video...he had so much more more energy...where disappered? Because of the rules think...And yeah, that straight line footwork was...vonderful.

I want that Plushenko back! I think that he miss Yagudin, doesen't he?:)

And yes it is a real MEEEN program...

I'm not sure, but David Wilson is not a guy? (how he speak is like johny weir exactly, and this rippon program) I am not sure that he is not...What do you think?

@zykitta In 2004 Plushy had more energy because he was younger and because he was in a very good shape, of course. The age and the injuries are his biggest enemies right now. :( I don´t think he misses Yagudin anymore, Alexei left long time ago, LOL, but yes, it wasn´t very easy for him to get used to it! :)))))

I’m disappointed(( Where is that great straight-line footwork from 2004? This program is very slow and it is nothing but arm movements and jumps which are not as great as in the past or at the OG. I hope he’ll show us something more interesting and better choreographed in the future. I wish I hadn’t seen that.

@bamboozle30 Why? Evgeni isn´t in a competitive shape, this was like a show, like a training for him, Kozuka and Brezina should be more worried because they will compete very soon in GP events. He lacks serious training and as far as I know he can´t jump quad right now. Check here, on youtube how was he skating in 2007, in 2008, in 2009 at COR and in 2010 at Euros, you´ll understand what I mean. :))))

@zykitta Well, first of all we can´t be sure what layout will choose Daisuke for Worlds. It depends a lot on what will others do. Secondly I´ve heard that Adam is preparing a quad too but I wouldn´t be so sure that he will really jump it in competition, specially after he won this event with such a huge score. I don´t trust the american experts who are gushing over him.

And yes, David Wilson is a guy, he works with a lot of skaters, Rippon, Kim Yu-Na, Johnny Weir, Brian Joubert, etc.

I am huge fan of Plushenko and have been for over 10 years but it pains to say that he is is loosing out on gold medals left right and centre now days due to poor guidance by his team, Yes we know he can jump and that is great, but he needs a programme full of creativity and linking steps to take advantage of the new judging system - he should take inspiration from the canadian's way of structuring programmes and that way he would win every medal poss.

@deaver21 He needs to lose his ugly costume for starters. Black is depressing to the eye and detracts from his artistry. This performance was very elegant and if he wore something lighter it would have added points to his artistic expression. At this point he needs to revamp his image and he's got to start with the costume. He's been skating in it for too long giving the impression of stagnancy in his routine. Out with the old, in with the new- MO...

@SimonaCB He's been wearing ONLY black for a long-long time. It might seem petty to pick on his costume but it is part of the overall package he presents so after a while it begins to wear your eyes out. Black is the color of villainy so you don't want to overdo it with dark tones.Black's come to represent the old Plush in MO. I hope he will go easier on the eyes when he unveils his new program. Again, it's ok to wear black just not ALL the time. His hotness won't suffer... :-)

It looks like he could have beaten the quadless Evan simply by throwing ALL of these jumps in the second half to collect his 10% bonus and that would have been the easiest one of his Olympic medals. :-) I mean the jumps that are challenging to other skaters are like child's play to this guy...

Nice controlled landings that look so easy...

@Snoitubirtnoc Exactly, he lost because of wrong tactics, with a smart program he could have beat Lysacek without quad, only with 3 and 2, and he would have complained how easy is to win the Olympic Games!!!!LOL!!!!! He could have enjoyed his meal too while jumping some doubles.

Adam did a wonderful performance in JO and he is a young and talented skater. So I expect his bright future.

But Plushenko is a living legend who has every titles already and made numerous achievements in single men's figure skating history.

I thank him for keeping fighting in competitions and still can see it.

I want to thank Plushenko that he performed Nijinsky once again for Japanese fans this year.

He asked us when he visited Japan on Sep which program "Tango or Nijinsky" we would want to see in JO and we fans chose Nijinsky.

He prepared for it for only one month making some adjustments for the new rule and entertained us a lot!

I hope I can see his wonderful skating in the future too not only in shows but also in competitions as long as possible.
