  • hidrogen=u get a bad crash bomb(big bomb)

  • hydrogen doesn't explode it burns, it burns bloody HOT, it's rocket fuel after all, so crash equals not boom, but woosh, asthe resulting fire turns EVERYTHING into a molten puddle of ash, plastic, and metal where there was a car

  • agree...but hidrogen under pressure =boom...steady flow of hodrogen=woosh....never heard about the hidrogen bomb?same principle

  • the prosess you are trying to decribe is called a BLEVY explostion. thats when a flamible liquid in a sealed container, like a railroad tank car, when exposed to treamendous heat, reaches it's boiling point bursts the container , the remaining liquid is vented to atmosphere as an aerosol , it's then ignited by the fire to make that big bang your afaid of. The hydrogen in a fuel cell is in a gaseus state, so no blevy.
