the prosess you are trying to decribe is called a BLEVY explostion. thats when a flamible liquid in a sealed container, like a railroad tank car, when exposed to treamendous heat, reaches it's boiling point bursts the container , the remaining liquid is vented to atmosphere as an aerosol , it's then ignited by the fire to make that big bang your afaid of. The hydrogen in a fuel cell is in a gaseus state, so no blevy.
