I think it was also because i have been watching alot of youtube vedios lately of celebrity interviews, and most say that the msd up ppl are that way because of they have dysfunctional families -- This brought me down quite a lot. It's not that my family is completely bad, but my mom has her own problems and miseries that she has to deal with that I can't really tell her what happened at school, because I'm afraid she can't handle any more "sorrow" ... if that makes sense...

Very good advice. I gave a girl I used to babysit a self-esteem book (that used to just collect dust in my room) and I plan to check up on her weekly since she is in the 8th grade (she used to have a bad time in Middle School with other children). When she gets to High school, I should show her this video. Seems like information that I should tell her about as well as information that I would have been great to know about when I was in High school. Thank you.

yes its horrible and the WORSE Thing about is this: parents are raising their kids to be with this way, parents are a childs prime example in elementary school and you will notice that kids have parents that gossip, are rude, smartasses, judgemental, hateful etc or some who don't have the time to teach their children how to be a better person

I found that because I stereotyped the "popular" girls as being mean and stuck-up, it prevented me from making any friends beyond my confined circle. Once you have an open mind about ALL people from all kinds of backgrounds, it becomes much easier to get along with them. You would be surprised at the good friends you can make outside your circle!

No She's speaking for everyone, I wasn't popular in school & would get singled out by the popular ones & picked on most of the time. Even ppl in what was supposed to be my 'close' friend group turned on eachother every now & again for stupid reasons. No matter what social group you're in these issues happen, but mainly in girl groups, the guys in my school just played pokemon all the time haha!

I did leave for homeschool after a couple of years so my experience can only speak for the first half
