ahhh the nostalgai. this expansion pack had it all interms of atmosphere. The cold wintery feel of Northrend. I started with wrath, and only just recently i quit the game. Cata has completely fucked wow over. And the next expansion? God damn kung fu pandas. For me Wrath was WoW's height as a MMORPG, cata has been tearing away at it. I'm glad I left though, so I can remember my wow days the way they should be, actually adventuring new environments, grinding wickedly hard achievements with my guild mates. Not some explosion of BS. I found Skyrim as a great alternative, it has a similar feel.

Cata seemed like filler to me, and the game is just dead now. In terms of Pve, the LK was the climax, and the pvp in Wrath was at its best. even if it wasn't balanced properly, the general theme was much better.

i can't that i'm a fan of Cataclysm. i didn't experience Vanilla nor TBC, but had more fun in WOTLK. almost made it to LK but then quit for a short period before returning a few months later. i think the only good thing about Cata was making the old questing zones more interesting. but even then, i thought some parts were too gimmicky and forced you into a strict path. at least with pre-Cata, the old zones gave you a lot of freedom.

Same with leavers and peeps who think everything should be cleared without any wipes. Wrath kiddie is also something we who have played since Vanilla/BC call those people who quit after one wipe. It's not rare to see someone say "The Wrath kiddies these days" when someone quits after one wipe or when it get's little harder.

How WoW should be: Battlegrounds should give no xp, and you should only be aloud to use each dungeon in the dungeon finder ONCE while leveling (**can do as many times as you want with real groups**) This way, Blizzard won't be throwing out old content and making us forget it was ever there. What I want to know was if it was like this when BC came out? I knew a guy who was hard core into BC who never really was able to cope with wrath. I think blizzard should launch different versions of WoW. Starting with vanilla WoW with a small number of realms. Then fully patched Burning Crusade. Then fully patched WotLK. And so on.. Just so people who are feeling a bit nostalgic or just have a personal preference to a particular version will be able to revisit it :)

I really enjoyed Northrend; it was a fitting conclusion to my time with the game. I loved the snow-capped mountains and wide open tundras. I really enjoyed the overall atmosphere and found the graphics to be exceptional and inspiring. Howling Fjord / Grizzly Hills were my favorites.

WOTLK was so fun. Before the times of dungeon finder where you had to get a group together through trade chat and where people wouldn't just leave dungeons because the party wiped. The whole togetherness that no longer exists in WoW anymore. Which is why I don't play anymore.

We had so much fun doing world pvp. ''For The Horde'' achie almost every weekend, just for the sake of fun. Leading 40/80 people into those Alliance cities. Exploring the most useless parts of Northrend, just to see what's around the corner and thx to the vibe it was a pleasure to do. Northrend for the fucking win...

The vibe in this continent was just amazing and mind-blowing. Cataclysm sucks so bad. I couldn't play it for any longer than 1,5 month. I know WOTLK wasn't the best xpac either, but the continent was just magical.. The icy plains of Dragonblight.. The huge peaks in Storm Peaks... I'll miss you WoW. I really will.
