Look how much plot they managed to get out of such an inconsequential chapter. This had the potential to be a long and prosperous anime with plenty of character development. What they could do with the characters and when to kill them off could have been done very smoothly thanks to the freedom the game provided.

I just really wish Nintendo would make a new anime for Fire Emblem. With Shadow Dragon and New Mystery of the Emblem, this seems like the perfect time.

This would go in hand with the fact that Navarre chose not to kill her for a possible reason of romantic affection, which is consistent with their characteristic archetypes seen in other installments of the series.

No, Ike, roy and Marth all lived in different time lines in the fire emblem trilogy, Marth died long before the others were born- so unless you really messed up the time line, Roy and Ike will not be appearing in this anime ^^

No because in Path of radiance, which is the game Ike is from, its said that the great flood destroyed all the other continents except tellius, so there's no way they could've all lived at the same time. unless they were mermaids and could live underwater....
