@djdanimizuta The Apricorn manual has instructions for installing on MacOS but I have not tried it. The disc is also bootable so it 'should' work on any OS.

The drives work great but the software is for Windows. i use a 64GB SSD on a MBPro 17.

how does this affect Windows Genuine Advantage? Seems a bit fishy that you can just 'copy' your hard drive so you will have 2 hard drives with the same windows on it activated...

@will3330 the thing that messes it up is when you have two hard drives with the same windows installed, but different hardware than the original computer installed with windows. other wise it doesnt matter.

@will3330 I just read Microsoft's EULA (that thing most people 'accept' without reading ;) and my interpretation of section 2 says the license is tied to the system. As long as you don't try to use the OS from the old drive on another system it doesn't appear to be a violation. I suggest installing that old drive in the migration case (aka external drive bay) and use it for backups/external storage.

It's fine... it doesn't affect it at all. Intel wouldn't post something that was illegal. (at least not on purpose)... :P

I wish you'd show the windows experience rating before and after. Very hard to get over 5.9 without SSD.
