I just love this accordionist's style! He is so enjoyable to listen to because he plays lightly on the keys and has such amazing control. I was sad to read that he passed away two years ago; I guess I'll have to meet him in the next life and thank him for his recordings!

El acordeón tiene que volver y no tardará mucho a ser el instrumento principal en música o uno de los principales aunque a lo mejor con otras características que no conocemos aún, pero volverá. A mí de pequeño, el escucharlo me hacía vibrar, me dilataba las arterias, me emocionaba, y siempre soñé con tocarlo pero eran tan caros y yo tan pobre...

Hace muchos años, cuando yo era niño, mi padrino, un guapo de pello plateado, me dice que su música preferida era EL CHOCLO, porque en su juventud, un día, cuando salía del cine, el sol brillaba y habían chicas hermosas en la calle y una orquestra tocaba El Choclo.
