The Michigan fan looks at the Ohio Statefan and says"We're going to beat you"the Ohio State fan holds up the Michigan flag that has the big "M"on it turns it up side down and says Wichigan(wish again)...
Nice shot of the flag at 1:28. And look at the triple goal posts at 2:05. I've never seen posts like that before. OSU went to the slingshot post in either '73 or '74, because when Lantry came back two years later, the posts were different.
Correct on both accounts. Fred Pagac was Woody's starting tight end and, apparently, ended his playing career as the school's all-time leading receiver. Mind you, this was Woody-ball, so that record wasn't much to sneeze at. He became a graduate assistant at Ohio State by 1981. He started off as a GA, working with special teams. When Nick Saban was fired after 1981, he took over the secondary, then apparently moved up to linebackers and eventually took over as defensive coordinator in 1996.

I was at that game and helped tear down the South Goal post- the last time that ever happened. Go Buckeyes!

Did Ohio State really want to go to the Rose Bowl? Honor was about the only thing the Buckeyes defended in that game.

Wasn't Fred Pagac the def. coordinator for OSU in 1996? I Doug Plank was the guy who they named the 46 DEFENSE by the Chicago Bears?
Thanks for the archives.

@SFFOOL76 Doug Plank and Gary Fencik of the Bears might have been the biggest hitting safeties in NFL history.
