Out of all the plasma producers (Panasonic, LG and Samsung) Panasonic is the only one that has true Black levels and burn-in. I own a 42-inch from 2005 and a 58-inch from 2007 and neither of them have issues with Black levels or burn-in retention.
Hitler in the other hand had trouble with ANYTHING that wasn't White., Just like a few loonies who post stupid videos wanting to pay Costco price and demand to get Fujitsu or Runco quality.
@Cargo1273 I think you are confusing burn-in with image retention. True black levels should never rise. Documented proof has shown they have been rising since the 11G models. I believe rising blacks started with the 2006 models. You may want to look up a Panasonic patent. Which describes rising blacks.

The ending is classic for me. I returned my Panny because I thought it's picture was grainy and colors dull and inaccurate. I bought a Samsung plasma instead and I love the picture, but it does buzz!!! I'm okay with the buzzing now. You got to take the good with the bad.
