What a wonderful cartoon! I remember back in the early 90s, when I was 6-7 years old a junior TV channel here in Greece was playing this cartoon and I remember I was watching it very much. What a great cartoon for small children, isn't it?

Interestingly enough, Hare is a male. I too once thought that the hare was a female, but I was mistaken.

Btw, this episodes depicts a Japanese contestant. Interestingly enough, Japan boycotted the 1980 olympics XP

Anyway, Nu Pogodi is an awesome cartoon, especially for the soviet union considering that none of the 20 cartoons contained government propaganda. I am sure that this cartoon could have been a success in the US, had it been brought here.
