Yo me halle el video entero espectacular, porque el video tiene buena calidad, el avion se ve fantastico y tiene un sonido extremadamente perfecto!!! Este video para mi, lo tiene todo!!!
@howardflight09 No the First Officer Landed it from around 1,000ft, pretty easy for them just follow the Flight Director. The Cloud in the video looks lower as we got Condensation all over the wing so the Pilots had much more Visual than we did on Finals.
@HeathrowSpottingHD Agreed i have flown with Air NewZealand to Auckland and they are amazing nice video and also was it really foggy , beacuse what were the grey stuff upon landing (i know clouds but they were there going over the wing on landing);)
So much for paying attention to the announcements...... I'm pretty sure they would have told you to 'switch off all electronic gear in anticipation of landing'
@LFK15 Yeah my camera is going to bring the Aircraft down.. Mate I spoke to one the Flight attendants a couple of times both ways whilst filming. How do you know the Captain didn't film this landing?
I doubt your camera would interfere with the aircraft but I am no expert. The Flight Attendants are no experts either. They are there to serve you crap meals and cheap booze. I doubt very much the pilot was filming the flight and landing given the film is taken from an economy passenger seat overlooking the wing :D According to Air New Zealand you should not use a camera during take off and landing
@LFK15 I said many Pilots to infact film and photograph up in the Flight Deck for there own pleasure i.e not uploading to Youtube and just for there own memories per say. The safety brief states you must follow crew instructions at all times,no one told me to turn off so I'm not going too. It's a load of crap, never been asked to put a camera away.
You're right! A lot of pilots film their flight. Do you know "pilots eye"?. Those movies show everything. Including take off and landing. There is no proof, that filming is bad for the airplane. Keep it on! This are really great vids you have! Greets form Germany.
@TheDominoWolfsburg Yeah I have the Austrian 777 one. Correct me if I'm wrong but the First Officer had a DSLR with a massive lens photographing some of the passing Aircraft. I got a couple of mates that film their flights but don't upload. Mainly because most Airlines have Media Policies where you're not allowed to upload or they have to be screened by someone at the Airline first. Cheers!
Awesome video! glad you enjoyed NZ's newest tripler! my friend is an FA on them :) poor wee bubs, usually babies cough medicine helps - just a little :)
Such a great landing skill and I must say u took a very good skill film. I will waiting for ur video with different airlines especially cockpit view. Good luck
@xSystemzZ I'm use to it if i'm honest. They only normally cry during Take-off, Climb, Decent and Landing. Simply because there heads feel like they're exploding and they have no clue what's going on! Completely understandable in my eyes.
@scanmannz No it was a full flap landing (30). Cloud was minimum 500ft. Not sure on the total thickness. Probably around 1,500ft-500ft. Full flaps on the 777 normally comes on Final Approach along with the gear.
@HeathrowSpottingHD yes i know it was a full flap landing and ANZ SOP is that aircraft is configured for landing by 1500ft agl - which, on a T7, is typically flap 30. I was just implying that the pilot set flaps 25 prior to 30 as he neared that final cloud layer.
@scanmannz Just re watched the landing and there was no stop at Flaps 25. Directly from Flaps 20-30. At LHR they ask you to cut back on your speed dramatically. Maintain 6DME at 160knts which isn't to far from touchdown = the late flaps 30. The 777 can float as well if your too high and to fast with the wrong flap setting. Like most Aircraft. Nothing to do with Altitude, clouds. It's about the Speed and what ATC Give them!
amazing, at first i thought it must of been low visibility but then when it landed i realized it was condensation gr8 vid, any 1 realize at 18:24 an apple device charging sound goes off
LOL everytime im on the plane to LHR well lets just say i took off from LHE Lahore Pakistan it was So sunny lovely weather on PIA 777-300ER LHE TO LHR great weather in Lahore When landing in heathrow it was raining it was cloudy i just hate it ugggh it spoils your mood!
@kingflyer223 Yep! Can't blame them though, there ears are popping etc and they don't know whats happening. Also the pressure at that time made us all go a bit 'wheew' as he was turning while trying to Maintain FL80 for the hold so he had to pitch up a bit at the same time of reducing the speed. My eyes that was the funnest part!
@kingflyer223 After calculating that up on a route website I see EGLL - NZAA is 113 fixes, 10088.7 nautical miles. The 77L can only do 9,395. But on the other hand another website says it can be 8700nm. I'll ask a mate who flies the 777 fleet then let you know for sure!
@ArmandoHerFlo Not necessarily, the route you would take along with the different jetway I would probably only take 18/20 hours depending on winds etc. When you fly EGLL-WSSS you would fly a total different route than trying to go EGLL-NZAA. I believe you would fly high routing. In the case way high over Russia, then drop down to Tokyo then vis versa!
@HeathrowSpottingHD I know that. But i was trying to explain how one person saw the route over 10000 miles and the other saw it as less than 10000 miles. Your preaching to the choir here buddy. I am the last person you neee to "correct" on here. But nice video none the less.
@jeffhardycool007 possibly - because Boeing has delayed the 787-9 (for which ANZ is the launch customer) they need to keep ANZ happy and rumour has it they'll get the LR model (worldliner) as a stop-gap measure.
@bewareofcabbage I personally think the 77Ws are fine. But if they plan on opening up some Ultra Long Hauls then the 77L will serve them fantastic. AKL-JFK? Something like that I mean!
@HeathrowSpottingHD yeah, I don't think the 77L was on ANZ's roadmap, but the 787-9 delays have meant ANZ have had to keep hold of their venerable 767's that toil away mostly on the pacific routes, longer than they expected. I guess Boeing needed to offer something in return for the delays.
@bewareofcabbage Yeah now with the 330 Minute ETOPS Rule the 77W will be fine for now. Not sure if they have any more on order? I love the 763 with Winglets in the ANZ livery!
@TheSaadAhmed125 In the British Language that would be more commonly used by myself and others than smelled. Smelled is used more in the "American English". "That smelt fantastic!" That's how most "United Kingdom" English people would say it. "That smelled fantastic" isn't how I'd personally put it. Many people say it different!
@rachaelmatt Thank you! Yep a nice Altitude! Passed a lot of traffic over the US FL330, shame it was dark! I could see quite a bit though as the moon light was fairly bright. We were Mach 8.4 FL310, FL330 8.3 FL350 8.3 but slowed to 8.1/2 over the Atlantic.
@HeathrowSpottingHD Awesome! Bet that was great over the states! I would have thought long-haul flights out of the west coast of the USA heading to europe would get up quite high to avoid all the other traffic. But it must have been pretty cool being with them all! When I came back from the Maldives I was looking forward to going over Europe but we were at FL410 so nothing was as high as us :/
@rachaelmatt Yeah we were fairly lower than normally. I'm always normally FL370 going West to East. Only been FL400 that was on the way to LA for the first time in a couple of years! We were a heavy load as well so had to be at the most efficient altitudes calculated by the FMC. We only filed for FL310!
@boeingnerd77 In the past I've been asked to put away the Camera until the Seatbelt Sign had been switched off. This and my Virgin flight however none of the Cabin Crew told me to put it away. Air New Zealand crew were probably the nicest I've flown on. They were fine with it!
That is an amazingly clean wing haha, I love the feeling of flying on a new aircraft. I flew on Air France's F-HPJD just 12 days after delivery. Welcome back to the UK btw :)
