A vote for any other candidate than Ron Paul for GOP, or Kucinich for DEMs... is a lost vote for their respective parties.
This is my humble and sincere opinon.
GOP members are encouraged not to waste their vote on any other candidate, I think the soldiers have made their opinion very clear (in their majority, and all opinions must be respected).
Well I am glad that he is against the WTO and against NAFTA,
Acceptable stance on Gay Marriage,
I completely disagree with the for profit privatized Health care. Private hospitals I think is great, but health care that makes a profit from not providing care, is a problem for me. I would love to see health care like in the UK or France.
so I still have to push for Kucinich but thank you for your reply Brocktee.
They're both great candidates. It just depends on if you like a little more Goverment control or small community control. I lean towards community control I find the idea to be more healthy but it is my opinion.
I heard Ron say he disagrees with HMO's & Big Pharma. He voted to allow states to buy meds in bulk & negotiate prices, & he also voted yes to allow the re-importation of drugs. He wants to allow doctors to set the prices for medical services and get HMOs & Government out of it. He believes they create huge bureaucracies or profit margins as middle men. The money should be going to the physicians & hospitals who in turn should decide how much each patient pays based on what they can afford.
on personal experience... I come from Europe. Just check how much does each individual pays form his taxes towards health insurance. Its like with any other business. Centralize it and you screw it up. If you want to redistribute income (which I think is equal to mugging) do it through the tax&transfer method. No need to run the whole business. If you want universal health care than give commercial health insurance coupons just like food stamps.
I will have to disagree again, It would be cheaper for our Government to switch to a single payer health care plan then to maintain the private insurances we have now. Our Government right now pays health care per person then all of the nations with single payer. 41mil Americans do not have health care, when they get sick they cant afford to go to the doctor and so they wait till it becomes and emergency. instead of paying for a $30 pill, the government now has to pay for a 60k operation.
But it is again the problem of government and its wrong system. Rather than paying for emergencies government might wanna give subsidies towards health insurance. Look there will always be people who disregard their health and they will be outside the system. Often simply because they prefer to buy a new car or tv instead of "throwing the money away" in the form of insurance. But dont screw the system for 300m americans because some dont know how to take care of themselves.
Im From Canada we have it the only problem with ours is when corperations under NAFTA and American Owned Politicians Like Mulroony get a chance every 18 years to fuck things up, And yes i have been to Europe and Australia as well, Universal Healthcare is just as exact infact in some countrys much higher then the States moron,.
Kucinich and Paul are put in a similar boat because they are both good defenders of the Constitution. They differ on economic policy but when it comes to freedom and civil liberties they are best buds.

Ron Paul supporters are for the most part total whackjobs. Watch them stand there with their goofy signs for the cameras like Lyndon LaRouchies of a generaton ago! Cukoo-Cukoo! These people need to be put into a rubber room. Neal Boortz is right! Ron Paul supporters are mostly KOOKS.
"watch them stand there with their goofy signs for the cameras"... Showing support for Ron Paul makes people crazy? I think voting for anyone other then Ron Paul is crazy! Why would anyone want to stay in Iraq? How many more people do we need to watch die? Ron Paul 2008!
I don't agree with most things Kucinich says as a Ron Paul libertarian. But I LIKE HIM!

I am a Kucinich supporter, what are ron pauls stands on Health care, Gay marriage, NAFTA WTO, Nuclear power plants?
kevinpaulharper 4 years ago
I would go to his website to check it out but from whazt I've read.
Ron Paul is a follower of the constitution, and advocate for small goverment as such.
Health Care should be privatized.
Gay Marriage is a nonfederal subject, it's regulation should be at a state lvl.
NAFTA WTO- NO WAY!
Nuclear Power - not for or against, more of a return to fiscal responsibility and a free market that dictates such options.
