Its not just about numbers and records. On the record Shumacher is better, with 7 titles and 68 poles. Lets not for get tho Senna had 65 poles but with only 162 GP starts. Shumacher had to race 100 more to beat that record. Senna laped around the guys in first in the rain. See his first victory at Estoril.

Infelizmente Barrichelo e seu carro não terminaram aquela prova,mas a primeira volta dele também não merecia menção ? Reparem na posição de largada de Barrichelo e na posição que ele passou completando a primeira volta,e vejam se não estou correto.

@Ayner5 Ayner, Fangio, Clark, Villeneuve são mitos, assim como o Senna. A diferença é que o Senna foi o melhor da época dele, de longe, disparado e até hoje é lembrado por todos. Concordo com a sua opinião de dize que Fangio pode ter sido melhor que Senna. Mas eu não o vi correr. Vi Senna e só isso já me fez ter valido a pena viver.

Great traction controls of the Mclaren. Even Michael Andretti, a bad driver of formula 1, overtakes Schumacher (without traction controls) as you can see in 1:10! Even Andretti was very fast that day with the Mclaren, so Senna had the best car that day.
But in BArcelona 92, Senna had no traction controls, like Schumacher... and Senna crashed when he could not be as fast as Schumacher!!

E acrescento que nem tava chuvendo tanto. A pista só estava um pouco molhada. Não era um diluvio. Ele tinha sorte, isso sim. Tinha habilidade, afinal, todo NERD OU CDF desenvolve alguma habilidade. Eu também tenho habilidade para dirigir em alta velocidade, num automovel de rua em pista encharcada. Pena que não estou nas corridas, não tive sorte de ser filhinha de papai e riquinha de berço como o senna. Mas foi uma boa corrida do senna. É EXAGERO DIZER QUE ISSO AÍ FOI MÁGICA. É UMA IGNORANCIA

@ericorenato88 Superior? Who are you kidding Senna had a better car at that time, Benetton was only the third team in the constructors championship... But that's not about it. It's just that Schumacher wasn't at his best back then yet. Well he certainly did get better and proved to be the best. And on rain Schumacher is the number 1 too, you should have seen more of his races later. He is simply the best in rain! :)

@arcelivez how old are you... 12 oh yeah I'm not got argue with someone who doesn't know what formula 1 is, thats why Senna was voted best driver of all time along with Gilles Villenevou. Its not just about numbers and records. On the record Shumacher is better, with 7 titles and 68 poles. Lets not for get tho Senna had 65 poles but with only 162 GP starts. Shumacher had to race 100 more to beat that record. Senna laped around the guys in first in the rain. See his first victory at Estoril.

You should however not talk about poles, because it's not about making poles, but it's about winning. if you're saying he has almost as many poles as Schumacher, then you can for example checkout the percentage of wins throughout the driven races and so on and you will see that Schumacher is better. So why did you even mention the poles?

He faced difficulties Schummy cannot even dream about: Tolleman, Lotus, wining wht no brakes, missing gears, against Prost/Willians... Watch first lap Donnington 93, Alesi in USA, comparison with schummy in Monaco... Even u will be able to reach a amart conclusion..

Williams were the greates cars on that year. That's why Senna moved to Willians in 1994. Schumacher was the same insane kid as he is today. @Embraer091 Actually Mclaren had more points than Benetton and Schumacher was obviously the only one driving that Benetton well that year, and indeed, he did better than Senna that year overall. And to say that he won 5 world championships just because of Ferrari, even though when he went there Ferrari was a very shitty car and Schumacher had a really hard time in the beginning of his career in Ferrari and everybody in Ferrari agrees that he was the one who did a lot to make the car better too..

Um episódio que poucos lembram,daquela corrida,é que Rubens Barrichelo largou no 12º lugar e,na mesma primeira volta que Senna largou da 4ª posição e apareceu ao completar em 1º,passando 4 concorrentes, Barrichelo passou 8. Infelizmente Barrichelo e seu carro não terminaram aquela prova,mas a primeira volta dele também não merecia menção ? Reparem na posição de largada de Barrichelo e na posição que ele passou completando a primeira volta,e vejam se não estou correto.
