The mp40 is over powered if you have stopping power and deep impact set as your perks. There are other guns that are just as powerful if not more powerful, but most people hate the mp40. I think the type 100 is worse.

ya its a lot better balnanced then WM2..gap between sub machine guns and machine guns. They've taken away the recoil from the sub machine guns when holding down the trigger allowing them to get distance kills just as easy with sub over full machine. Yes, cod5 has the noob tank and mp40 but the weapons overall have a better balance than MW2.
