First, the genius is in the writing and anyone who cant appreciate Petrucci I hereby proclaim has a dense mind.

I cant hear the guitar well, and Ive been playing and mixing forever--but dude it takes a special time based intelligence to even get the sync of this piece and is what makes DT so fun to listen to. Its an intellectual challenge and you passed.

I would suggest with your ability to adapt to these timings you should start writing your own stuff because the world needs more real music

Okay so I've been wondering this since the album came out and I still can't figure out even after watching you. How exactly did you do those flutter sounding harmonics around 7:48 during the solo?

@chandlerfyfe1 Letting the Tremolo arm snap back into place after bending it will produce the effect its just the arm vibrating quickly. I read somewhere that only certain tremolos will do it but I can't remember to confirm.

@GLRS106 not trying to be rude, but you say you learned that by ear, I believe you might have, but there are programs to slow down songs, then I would say yes you learned it by ear. The leads are impossible to learn by ear unless you slow them down, or unless you are a music genius, the rhythm parts I can say you may have learned by ear. But if you did or didnt you are very very good on the guitar, very good technical skills. How long have you been playing???
