  • The call it a procedure to help depersonalize the fact that they killed a developing child. I may not beleive in God but at least some ppl have found a way to deal...we can never go back and abortion is about as final as it can get.

  • This is more of a video about God rather than abortion!

  • I don't believe in any God, but I find it great that these women have found a way to get about with there loss, guilt, sin,...

Even when you don't believe this video is helpful as it shows very common ideas like that you have to acknowledge the fact, give it a place in your mind and heart, give your baby a name, and then forgive yourself.

  • Thanks for posting this. So many women don't know that there are people who can help them go through PAS. They think that they have to go through their abortion and feel relief or nothing at all. I was lucky to have had so much support.

  • PS: I know this is slightly irrelevant, but do you know the title and composer/author for the background music of this? Just curious. Thanks.

  • it is a friend of mine.

  • i had an abortion in july and i still cant move on. i cant get the picture of my baby out of my head and the guilt that it could have had a life if it wasnt for me. i dont know where to turn.

  • Thanks for posting this. I had an abortion 22 years ago, forced into it at the age of 13 by my mother. Jesus gave me forgiveness and healing.

  • I Too had an abortion 22 years ago. I regret it, I have found healing. Message me if you need to

  • American Psychological Association nor the American Psychiatric Association (APA) recognizes the existence of post tramatic abortion syndrome or post abortion deppression

  • The reason why is because there has not been enough comprehensive research done on the subject. That is changing however. Do a google search for David Fergusson abortion study. This is the most comprehensive study to date and the results are that women DO suffer tremendously!

  • really nice video, i think that it is also important to consider woman suffering. Dont interrupt your pregnacy! there are other options

  • Ron Paul says that life starts at"conception". Ron Paul is running for PRESIDENT! Support Ron Paul! Make your voice heard. VOTE Ron Paul.

  • This is a very nicely done video. Sometimes when we talk about abortion we have to remember to consider those who have had one in the past...and how they suffer. I am against abortion but I do not condemn ladies who have had one...if it were not for God's grace it could have been me as well.

  • I don't completely agree with what you're saying, but this is a good clip none-the-less. I just wish pro-lifers wouldn't put so much emphasis on their religion, because it's not a religious issue, it's a moral issue, and in this instance, it seems like just another way of making people feel alienated.

  • Where do you think morals come from. God put them in your heart.

  • First off, that can't be true because many people have deep moral issues with things mentioned in the Bible.

Secondly, do you mean god puts morals in everyone's hearts or just his believers' hearts? If you're saying morals are in everyone, then there's no connection between morals and religion, because everyone has morals and not everyone has your religion.

If you're saying only people who believe in god have morals, that's already been disproved by history.

  • Hebrews 10:16 "I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them..." This is my proof, how can you explain where morals come from?

  • Firstly, I don't consider the Bible proof.

Secondly, that's not the issue, or at least I didn't think that was the issue. You said "God gave us morals" to contradict me implying a difference between morals and religion. But I believe that Everyone has morals, and not everyone believes your religion, which is why Morality and Religion cannot be the same issue.

  • I believe God created all, and he wrote His laws on our hearts. It has nothing to do with man's rejection of God or wether or not they don't believe in God, or if they're in another religion. The fact is we know right from wrong, and the bible says its because God put His moral code on our hearts.

  • But the moral code in our hearts is not always the same as the moral code in the Bible.

  • Christianity is not a religion. It's a relationship with God through his son Jesus Christ. It's not being religious, it's putting your faith and trust in Him.

  • And as for where morals come from: I don't know, but I do know that Everyone has them, and therefore morals cannot be exclusive to one religion. Besides, morality does sometimes contradict what the Bible says. The Bible considered it honorable that Abraham would've killed his son, most people would find that repulsive. The Bible says "honor thy father and mother", but if a young girl's parents were beating her brother, she would be seen as brave for taking him away from them.

  • Abraham did not kill Isaac, It was a test, and a fulfillment of prophecy that God would provide His own sacrifice in which He did through His Son Jesus Christ. Secondly, are you saying it's not honorable to honor your mother and father? God judges the heart, and I'm sure he would in your scenario. Read about Gideon destroying his father's idols.

  • I know he didn't but he was willing to, that's the disgusting thing.

I'm saying it's honorable to honor people who deserve it, and a few parents (abusive, neglectful, etc.) definitely do not deserve it.

If you had Jewish children in your basement and Hitler came knocking on your door looking for them, wouldn't you lie? The point is that the 10 commandments are clearly the word of god, so if morality was given by god, Why would natural morals contradict the Bible in many cases?

  • When God sacrificed His own Son, was that disgusting to you? God was testing Abraham to see where is faith lied. God had promised Abraham that the nations would be blessed through his seed. He knew God would raise him from the dead if He needed to.

There's a good autobiography called the Hiding Place. In it a Christian was hiding jews and refused to lie to the Germans. God miraculously protected the jews!

  • Well, if god's omnipotent, why should he need to sacrifice his son? If Jesus had to be sacrificed in order for something to happen, and that thing couldn't happen without his crucifixion, then that means there's something that god couldn't do, which would mean god isn't omnipotent.

So, if god's omnipotent, then yes, I do think it's disgusting that he'd let his son die.

I'm not really talking about Nazi Germany, it was an example.

  • God can do anything right? That is what omnipotent means. So God can choose any method that pleases Him for our salvation. And the bible tells us that Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. 1Ti 3:16 "And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh..." God became a man to save a race that quite honestly, as evil as we are, He should just wipe us out. But he provided a way out! That way is Jesus.

  • Omnipotent does mean being able to do anything. Meaning he could have saved humanity without sending his son to suffering and death.

"So god can choose any method that pleases Him for our salvation."

Are you saying god chose to send his son to suffer needlessly? If so, how can this possibly be a god of love?

  • Don't kill your children! Your blood is running through there veins. :( Girls...Don't just give up and think you can't take care of your child. Don't make that mistake. You will answer for it. If not sooner, than later.

  • Thanks for sharing it!

    Great film!

  • I've had an abortion a few years ago. I am very content with my choice and I would make it again. I do,btw, also have a degree in the med field, and therefore I can tell you for a fact that "post abortion syndrom" is not recognized as an illness by modern medicine anywhere, and that unbiased statistics show that about 1% of post-abortive women will experience serious negative psychological consequences. The vast majority of women will, even years after their abortion,be content with their choice.

  • The reason why is because there has not been enough comprehensive research done on the subject. That is changing however. Do a google search for David Fergusson abortion study. This is the most comprehensive study to date and the results are that women DO suffer tremendously!

  • I noticed that you censored my post. I read before where you claimed you would only censor posts that were unkind and hurtful. How was my post either? Obviously, you only censored me because I disagreed with you. Do not say you will only censor violent posts if you will, in fact, censor any post you don't like. Lying does not seem like a very Christian virtue to me.

  • Abortion = Autocatastrophy :-(

Pregnancy = Miracle, Gift, Life, Happiness :-)

Thank you for this very important video.

  • I'm sorry for your pain. Jesus will forgive you if you ask Him. We all mess up, hon.

  • I feel that women often really suffer after abortions - but it troubles me that some people use these poor women's pain as a tool to convert them to Christianity. Not all pain can be wiped away by accepting Jesus. Believe me, I know.

  • "Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you." 1 Peter 5:6 - God will wipe away your tears in heaven, and yes all pain will be wiped away.

  • While your faith is admirable, I have to disagree. I was raised Christians, and for a while was truly ashamed of it because of the way people (women who've had abortions, gays, etc.) were treated if they tried to come to church.

  • i regretted my abortion in 1993, paid for by NY taxpayers. i made a promise to "god" that i would never due such a thing again, and i was a practicing wiccan. years passed and in 2001, i accepted Yeshua/Jesus as my saviour. halleluyah. shalom.

  • I had an abortion in 1977. Still regret it. Many years of counselling gave me some relief but that uninformed decision to abort a child never leaves me.

I was told it was safe. It wasn't. The shame and guilt still torments me.

  • Have you given your life to Jesus Voodoo1948? Jhn 8:36 "Therefore if the Son makes you free, you shall be free indeed."

  • Thanks, this is the first video about PAS where real woman speak about their feelings and not just actress playing. Goes to my playlist.

  • OH my God, thank you for the sjining exmaple of the pro-LI(f)E movement trying to scare women out of their choices. You know there is a VERY GOOD reason why post abortion syndrom is NOT a recognized disorder. No doctor even accepts this laughable definition.

  • aw she named her Rachael

  • Im never doing this ABORTION :[

  • Also- the quote up front is one of many that pro-lifers use to say that God can see the future and has your whole life mapped out for you. If that's the case, why can't he just plan for you to have a few weeks of natal existence before you're aborted? Its his world, right. And turn on your comments so it wont look like everyone agrees with you.

  • It's the hurtful explicit comments I am monitoring.

  • I see. Thanks for putting mine up.

  • At exactly 3:05 in it becomes obvious what this video's intent is: take women who are feeling guilty, confused, and scared and use that as opportunity to get them hooked on Christianity. Having an abortion is a profound, personal choice and should be left to the individual. If PAS=PTSD, then it can be treated through psychotherapy just like PTSD.

  • what happens to postaboRtive women who don't believe in god.!?

  • fo realll ?? wat does happen

  • It depends. Some feel guilty for personal reasons, some get medically depressed, some don't feel any emotional distress. I think it depends on the woman, but I do know women who've had abortions (several years ago, for some of them) who regret that they needed to get one, but not the actual act.

  • Can people regret abortion without believing in God?

  • TOXIOD, Of course you can regret without God, HE GAVE YOU A CONSCIOUS!

  • yes they most definetly can, its not about religion but about ur human morals, ur sense of right and wrong.

  • trust me i it worst when your 16 and your parents, boyfriend & parents boyfriends make you do it :`(

  • thankyou for posting this...its good to actually hear something about post abortion syndrome

  • you should try posting this video as a response to pro-abortion videos here on youtube. i guess this way more people will get to waych it.

  • thats manipulation by making someone find and see something they did not want to see. like forcing someone to do something they didnt want to do. u shouldnt judge others cuz no one knows what other people are going through and have not stood in their shoes..we r all humans in this world..all equal.

  • Thanks for the clip. God heals.

  • This is an excellent video on healing from post-abortion syndrome. It is refreshing to see and hear the Truth.
