  • the one on the bottom right, Alan Carr

  • My dad showed me this and we often sing it

  • Fantastic fantastic fantastico! I can watch this every week and always laugh, the expressions and the crap whistle solos, I don't want to explain, it just works.

  • This has been stuck in my head for days. It is without doubt the greatest video clip on the entire internet.

  • one person

    is an idiot

  • love duds hat!

  • one person caant see the coulours black and white

    and is deaf

  • There's very little greater than this.

  • This is somewhat a running joke in my family, lol. Someone will start singing it and everyone joins in. You get strange looks from people that don't know it though haha

  • The best song ever written. Especially about Alan a' Dale. I have this on video and just fall about every time I see it. Fantastic!

  • I have to think this was the inspiration for the "Dennis Moore" bit by Monty Python.

  • This proves to the world what a waste of space Alan A Dale actually was !

  • This is one of the most sublime pieces of delightfully daft British comedy....... written down on paper it simply wouldn't be funny. It's all about the presentation........ never underestimate the value of daft props and silly facial expressions. Dud's hat and grin/eye movements are priceless........... a gem.

  • Genius! Just brilliant!!!

  • everyones perfect in this , Magic !

  • Oh my gosh. What a catchy tune, eh? haha Dudley looks like Mike Meyers doing a character. hehe

  • This is the greatest thing ever.

  • @lizagerb Well, I"'m sorry, but I must respectfully disagree. "The Greatest Thing Ever" was obviously sliced bread.

    Norm

  • Who are the others in this video -- Pete, Dud, and?

Anyway, love it. Dud has done the 'never-ending ending' with his Beethoven piece, and this is a bit like the 'never-ending introduction', a little akin to Python's 'Brian Song'.

  • @pcoldham

John Wells is behind Dudley at the beginning. The other two are Bill Wallis, in front of Peter Cook, and Joe Melia appears in the middle later on. Hope this helps !

  • I'm pretty sure that this is the Beyond the Fringe crew (Peter Cook, Dud Moore, Alan Bennett and Jonathan Miller) You might be right about the guy in the middle tho.

  • Comic Genius!

  • Hahahhahah I love Dudley moores face in this!

  • This song has been stuck in my head for three days now. I love it!

  • What was his name again?! haha, great stuff. Peter Cook is one of my comedy idols

  • Love this song

  • Haha, this song gets stuck in my head for days when I hear it.
