Great launch. I saw this video many months ago and I am seeing it again just to remind me what my daily commuter bike is capable of. A shame that I have to ride it "domesticated" as the speeding laws in my part of the world is pretty strict and there is no proper drag strip in more than a hundred kilometers. Keep riding, keep the speed to the track and live to ride another day!

Just curious, i have an 08 Fz6 and when i get to speeds of 115+ my handlebars start to shake a little bit. Do yours do this also? My buddy told me that some bearings (forget which ones) could be going bad..

@tchockey705 no it shouldnt shake at all , your friend is right it is either the bearings going bad (front wheel bearings) or simply your wheels needs to be balanced.i would take it in for inspection , it could be very dangerous , once it starts wobling at high speeds ,its hard to stop it.

@LordFabs If you change the sprockets on the FZ6 the speedometer becomes very inaccurate.

@187Premises sorry for the late reply , no there was no speedo healer on the bike , which means speedo is off around %6-7..so this video probably topped around 195 km/h or so

Decent run but just so you know reaction time has nothing to do with your E.T. You could have launched 20 seconds after the light turned green and still have gone into the 11s...know what I mean

Great video. I own a FZ6N and i now have myself a benchmark.

That appears to be a mid12s ET at around 205-210 kmh.

@flubbablubba123 Started timing at the light and it's more like the mid 3's. One road test I saw rated it at 3.4 secs to 60 mph (roughly the same)

Looks like 33.5-37, so might well be under a 4s launch.
