Eating meat = no problem, it's actually healthier. and 3. Washing every two weeks strips oils from coat, makes more odor and dries out their skin.
hey i got a question about Ferrets. You see i have had my three ferrets for a while now and two of them get along great but there is one that thinks he is hot stuff and fights them should i be worried that he would hurt the other two? also i was wondering if meat is given to a ferret with it make them aggressive i have heard it both ways im trying to see what one ways more thanks for your time
Firstly, NEVER feed meat to ferrets. They're a little "wilder" than most domestic animals, and they're already a little "bitey" sometimes, so adding real meat to the equation is a recipe for disaster. Stick to dry catfood, or ferretfood. If the one ferret is too aggressive I would keep them separated, or make new home arrangements for the aggressive one if I were you. You may want to run this past a vet or two as well. Good Luck! Take Care, Erik
Thanks for the comment and most of all Congratulation on getting a Ferret. They can take a short time to get comfy in your Home, but once they do they become cute little mischief makers.
You'll know when they're very excited by the cooing sound they make (just about the only noise Ferrets make)
They LOVE hammocks, and piles of clothing to sleep in (be careful with clothes not to have them places that can be stepped on or not known as a Ferret Bed. Find Safe spots for them.
I LOVE FERRETS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
