when i started filming skateboarding i didnt know much about the vx1000 mk1 or dvx type things, i just started filming the way i wanted to..and i kept on that way.
if you like the traditional way that people film skating go for VX1000 or VX2000, if u like the way that the t2i looks..then go for that.
i think theyre both really cool so its all your choice.
@LoveOrangeJuice thanks man im just thinking of the getting the 550d/t2i for long lens shots and skate photos as i already have a dvx100a and an opteka
i dunno, it looked smooth before i uploaded it, but some things cant be helped when it comes to youtube i guess.
I'm not gonna start filming in 60p cuz it lowers the quality significantly, but i find if u just shoot with a fast enough shutter speed it compensates...altough it doesnt quite show on youtube
@LoveOrangeJuice maybe you should consider filming artsy shots in 24p and 30p and skating in 60i. i find the frame rate of 60i is much more appealing than the prettiness of 30p. then again this is all just opinion.
i filmed in 60 when i first got the cam..and it really lost its effect for me.
but i did notice the choppiness in some of the clips of this video, particularly the second one, i've been filming in 30p without that problem since i got the camera..and i think it was because of my shutter speed. but i mean, unless it becomes a reccuring problem then i wont be too concerned.
i think alot of people are more concerned with faster frame rates than i am.
@LoveOrangeJuice yeah dont get me wrong i like how most of your videos have looked. id just be disappointed if they started looking choppy. what shutter speed do you usually film at when your filming 30p?
what was the kids name who did the 50?

that ledge was sick. the frame rate seemed a little weird to me for some reason. like it was filmed in 24p kinda but idk.
