no single nation is sovereign over it's territory indefinitely. land exchanges hands and nationality. current occupiers always have the rights to any land. before the romanians there were others. if we all started claiming all that is our own at one point in history, we'd all have everything and nothing at the same time. the sooner people understand this, the sooner we can coexist peacefully.
In 12 century, under II Géza German Saxans built this town. In 1910 the most of the population was German, now it is almost full Romanian. This is explain the 80 years ols orthodox church

This is one of the few 100% medieval cities in Europe.
A very recommended location for any tourist that visits Romania.
Every year (~july-august) a medieval festival is hosted in Sighisoara, specific music, theatre, shops/souvenirs, "medieval combat" in every corner, lords and ladyies, bufoons and a lot more!
You won't regret it nor forget it your whole life!

The white orthodox church in the movie is only about 80 years old. The medieval town is 800 years old!
