@XxXFuckinBeezyXxX Yeah, and I bet the nazi's told the Jews to "get over it" you're a fucking retard. A top notch mangina, go back to your mother, lap dog.
@denerlille2 Hahaha now you're comparing this DAIRY QUEEN commercial to Nazi's??? Oh my god, get a life! It's a fucking commercial. Stop being such a tight ass.
This commercial is a bad influence on boys and girls. It teaches girls it's ok to manipulate boys to get what they want. It teaches boys they're helpless to do anything about it.
This commercial encourages young girls to use and manipulate boys, another great step for America on its way to the bottom. Psychological pandering to insecure women, perhaps? Or maybe it's just another attempt to appeal to the white trash demographic that comprises DQ's customer base. Either way, at least I can add another carved notch to my wall of misandric TV commercials, yippie!
Good for her, let her use some clueless guy to get what she wants! It doesn't make her a whore at all, as whores HAVE SEX to get what they want! She just used her cute-appeal to get a free Fudge Brownie Temptation. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, especially if the guy was stupid enough to do it in the first place.
Guys use girls all the time to get SEX, and girls use guys to get everything else. It's an even deal, folks, so stop complaining!
Well then I hope you wouldn't be surprised when your little girl has a tendancy to get beat up by her boyfriends because for some CRAZY REASON, she's attracted to abusive men.
No, the reason you're not laughing is because you are way too sensitive. Women teasing men in general, even if it's all in good fun, probably doesn't sit well with you at all.
I'm not too sensitive. My main concern is that the ad does not depict a woman. The ad depicts a child. There is nothing wrong with friendly teasing/flirting with adults, but the main thing is that we see a child being manipulative of another child of the opposite sex for personal gain.
i agree with invaderhime! this girl is a horrible role model for girls her age... i know tons of girls who do exactly what they see on tv and this is commercial not helping anything.
This advertisement is creepy and wrong on so many levels. It is teaching girls to USE men to get material goods for themselves. It discourages sharing AND it puts CHILDREN into adult situations. Very Pedophillic overtones. Creepy.
Talk about about double standards. I guess your just femenist enough to think the girl is a victim about all this, lol. I love it how in todays society men are naturally evil and women only make mistakes because of men. No accountability whatsoever.
But he baught a complete stranger something without even talking to her first. All she did was wave. I've turned down drinks from guys I didn't know in clubs before. And I know often, but not always, the only reason they baught the drink is because they expect me to go home with them...
My point is that sometimes when guys do this it does creep me out so I understand Jonie calling the boy creepy. I mean you don't even bother to talk to me before buying a drink; must mean he's only into looks.
You just hit the biggest difference: "I've turned down drinks...". Thats the key, she didn't turn it down. I would have had much respect for her if she did that. You have a lot of respect for yourself by turning drinks down. She didn't, which is the messed up part.
wow, what a slut, i should blackmail her! or they should make a pt. 2 with the worker walking back wit a string on his waist and on the ic crem and pwn the slut and the boy says " like shooting fish from a barel"
Seriously, does any living male expect to get anywhere with a woman WITHOUT buying them something (flowers, dinner, movie, a ring?). Never understood spending money on a ring..for what?
If my 12 year old daughter did something like this, I'd snatch her by the ear and walk her over to the table and make her eat with the boy. Of course my daughter wouldn't do that cause I'm not raising her to be a manipulative little whore.
It's prostitution by a diffrent name but women think it's romance.
if you don't like the stereotype, and are offended by it, then look at the root of it all. Maybe guys and their friends should stop buying gifts and drinks and flowers and actually talk to and use their charming personalities to "get the girl".
Yup. And maybey we shouldn't carry a wallet so people wont lose money in a stick up. Give me a break. Guys do these things to be nice. They shouldn't have to be punished for it. Please don't justify this disgusting action.
alyssahilary: I know that every girl has gotten a sperm from a guy, that's how they were conceived and then born. I'm not sure of the relevance here though.
MelaniePortrip: I don't see what "racial injustices" have to do with this either. Men from any race can be used by women. Perhaps this is a common bond?
BTW, when trying to calm people down, it may be appropriate to avoid the use of expletives, as those are generally intended to get people riled up.
In the real life version of this situation no one gets hurt, the guy, who was only sexually attracted to begin with loses at most, 14 bucks, and may, but usually doesn't, learn to talk to a woman before he offers the drink.
I don't know how old you guys are or what rural towns with no bars or clubs you live in, but this occurs all the time and it's not big deal.
Sometimes the women don't even accept the drink and sometimes the two even start dating and even more rare, may even get married, it's just Western World courtship. You guys are acting really stupid.
My cousin's parents met like this, in a bar and when they were 24 and 27. My uncle saw her sitting with some friends at the bar and baught the group drinks. My aunt was the one who decided to actually talk to him and well, the rest is history as they've been married for, I think, 19 years now.
Melanie, your example doesnt hold. The girl was not one bit interested in the boy. One thing is to accept a drink and check the guy out like you describe, but in this case she toyed with him to get ice-cream. C'mon, she says "like fish in a barrel" so as to say: "sucker" or "so easily to manipulate". Those examples have NOTHING to do with this.
In the real life version of this situation no one gets hurt, the guy, who was only sexually attracted to begin with loses at most, 14 bucks, and may, but usually doesn't, learn to talk to a woman before he offers the drink.
"sign" I really dont understand why some people can't understand that this is a matter of principle and moral. Yes, 14 is not that much and maybey he should improve his approach. But lets pretend that he tried to talk to her first. Do you really think she would have been nice to him? Hell no! She just wanted to get the ice cream and flush him down the toilet. It is not about the boy having no game, its about the girl viciously manipulating him. Arguing that the boy is to blame is ludicrous.

You're a chauvinist and a moron willie. It's ludicrous why? Because you say it is? Blaming the male this situation is a perfectly reasonable sane and even warrented thing to do. All you're doing now is speculating what the girl would have done which is nonsense cus you don't actually know.
Buying a girl a drink because she's hot and you want to sleep with her (as it would happen in the real world) totally makes it the guy's fault.
By insulting me I can interpret your out of arguments. Yes I can make a valid prediction on the girl because anybody with reasoning can. She plays him!
There is no motive to blame the guy unless your trying really hard to play devil's advocate. The guy is being nice to the girl and she is taking advantage of him. Is that simple. Now if the guys tries to force her to something, then you'd be right. But that is not the case.
So yes. I'm right and your wrong. Get the picture? Stop defending her
When a leech drinks your blood, it only takes a tiny amount, almost nothing compared to the total volume in your body. But guess what? It's still a leech.
I think that the point here isn't about what the girl gains and the boy loses, the point is about how a young girl becomes the focus of attention in a TV slot, while playing the emotions of a young boy in order to get what she wants.
Don't kids always want to be like the people they see on TV? Can any of us who grew up with TV say that we never wanted to be like some character we saw on TV?
The ad isn't only portraying men as moronic meal tickets, and mindless beasts of burden (donkey), it's also poison against hard-working women who want to be taken seriously. It makes it appear as though leeching from males is a natural behaviour of females in our society. It's clearly as offensive to women in general as it is to men.

OMG stop freaking out you jack asses, you guyz r such retards its just a funny comercial about a 8year old girl acting like a teen and omg its hilarious its like ther old people. its good and do u see the look on the moms face?? PRICELESSSS!
To those who post that this is "just a commercial" and think it's ok that an ad promotes this type of behaviour, I think that we need to turn the tables.
How about another ad, featuring a boy and girl of the same age as these 2. The boy sits down while the girl orders the food at DQ. The girl messes up on the order, and the boy, serious as he is about his DQ food, is very upset, and he smacks the living crap out of the girl, just like an abusive husband. Is it "just a commercial" now?
First off, that would NEVER be a commercial, and your a sick person for thinking that up, YOu might treat a woman that way, but Hopefully not too many people are. Secondly, that has nothing to do with this commercial at all, so try again.
Slapping someone in the face isn't taking advantage of them as much as it's simply physically harming them...
A more appropriate comparison would be a group of boys sitting at the table in a DQ rating young girls' attractivness 1-10 as they walked in with their mothers or something - or no, even better; A girl and boy, just like the ones in the commercial, sitting in a DQ together and then the boy calls the girl fat so he can have her ice-cream... but even that's a bit different...
Well, I'm just the kind of ass that would buy that girl all the ice cream she wanted if she flirted with ME (But she's waaayyy out of my league...) rotfl
You have distorted values. The guys who have gone through that are not loosers, but victims. If anything, the girl should get some help. Doing that at that age will scar her for life.
Listen, dude. You dont have to insult to prove your point. She doesnt need this to advance her carrer. He is already in "The Young and the Restless". But again, your values are distorted. Getting a movie deal and a ton of money for doing this is wrong. As for porn, let's just say I'm not a Paris Hilton fan.

There is NOTHING wrong with this commercial, people who find it offensive or degrading or whatever just need to have more of an open mind. Your one of those parents who HATE people swearing while somehow ur kid is around because they MIGHT pick it up. GET WITH REALITY IT"S GONA HAPPEN, UR KIDS ARE GONA SWEAR! just like ur daughter is gona be flirting with another boy. and why would it be ANYMORE appropriate if she's 17-18? why because she's ALMOST LEGAL AGE?! come on grow up people.
You dont see comercials promoting swearing as something good. When there is cursing in movies or shows, it is usually just part of the plot, but it is not promoted as something good. This comercial promotes manipulation, selfishness and whore-like behavior. It wrong. End of discussion.
Again, no need for insult. Of course the boy is buying it to get in good with her. But the thing is, he gets her ice-cream and she gives nothing in return. She is pretending she's interested in him...aka...playing with his emotions.
So what if its a commercial? I love it how you actually believe a commerical is harmless.
Anybody between the ages 10 and above should be sure about that. She flirts with him not because she's interested in him, but for ice-cream. Its in the same league as marrying a guy for money pretending that you love him. Those are whore-like behaviors.
Wow. I Work @ Dairy Queen, and as much as I love it, This commercial is extremely out of place. That girl has to be only like 12 years old. It wouldn't be as bad if she were a 17-18yrs old. 12 yr olds don't act like that. It was offending. D.Q. is a family place, and they're trying to be more racy, its not really working well in my book.
Totally agree with the word you used. Honestly, Dairy Queen really need to take that commerical down. Its insulting that promotes inappropiate behaviour. Too many men have suffered because of this attitude and manipulation by women to treat it as a joke.

You dont see comercials promoting swearing as something good. When there is cursing in movies or shows, it is usually just part of the plot, but it is not promoted as something good. This comercial promotes manipulation, selfishness and whore-like behavior. It wrong. End of discussion.

whore-like behavior?!? what the heck!!! it's not like the girl is sleeping with the kid to get what she wants.
ashyd14 3 years ago
No, but she is using what is supposed to be her sex-appeal to get the boy to do that. That is a whorelike behavior.
williebori 3 years ago 2
and you dont think the boy is buying her that so he can get in good with her? Its a commercial, moron.
GaryVer1 3 years ago
Again, no need for insult. Of course the boy is buying it to get in good with her. But the thing is, he gets her ice-cream and she gives nothing in return. She is pretending she's interested in him...aka...playing with his emotions.
So what if its a commercial? I love it how you actually believe a commerical is harmless.
williebori 3 years ago
yeah...sure it is?!?
ashyd14 3 years ago
