I think the truth is he explored the whole religion thing and discovered it wasn't his thing and as he rightly stated he is now atheist.I don't know anybody who thinks he is a freak,just a nice man,but your entitled to your opinion.
I saw this when I was ushering for the film fest, i didn't mind this not as good as 4min, but why were you dressed in a suit talking to a camera the whole time in the foyer, the director of the short 'Shell' was very quiet and don't recall him giving inteviews to his own camera and a entourage.
I didn't see him! Would've been good to chat with him. The video interviews were for practice and diary log. As there weren't that many people there it was good to experiment. Public sort of expect that sort of thing nowadays so I thought nothing of it. Thanks for the observation though.

It's really a matter of taste isn't it? The filmmakers had their urge to make those particular films. They ostensibly made the films for themselves and if people liked the too, great!

You could have said 'I do not see the point' - at least then you might learn something from a reply. Hi Skorrie, thanks for your kind words. We really enjoyed making the film. As with all my recent films we got out and shot it in one day in about 5 hours.
Thanks Angie, for the compliment.. Scott I felt gave a great performance (to those who don't know him - he really is the opposite to this guy!). I wanted hundreds of extras in the last scene but on the day it was pouring with rain so I was lucky to get 30.
