  • The audio on this is horrible. Couldn't hear a thing. Sounded like whispering.

  • insurance company's are the greatest evil of our day. now i pay 6 times more then i did 20 years ago. 6 times more !! and that is just one insurance. i canceled all my insurances and now i only have health. i refuse to get leeched on by these big company's. to whom you pay all your life and in the end ,if you are lucky you may get 10 percent of what you put in. and it's in every county !! why are we putting up with this ?? now more then ever.

  • fuck insurance companys,my wife needed a fucking wheel chair and was denied,a fucking wheel chair,i could of bought 1000 of them for what i payed in,before its over with,i will hunt down as many of those fuckers as i can!

  • Who Is John Galt?

  • a libertarian utopian?

  • The only ugly person here is you.

  • pretty please, tell us the truth, oh master of truths and facts.

  • I don't understand why corporations can't go back to the business practices of Henry Ford. He paid his employees very well and produced a good automobile that the masses could afford. He was a great business man and revolutionized the industrial age. The key part that made Ford a great company was making a great product and making it affordable for everyone. If only health insurance and the other industries could do the same.

  • because ppl who seek money and power always want more money and power

  • Well, Ford wasn't that great.

He hired black people when others wouldn't only to put them in jobs where they would die faster.

He payed his employees more, only to force his compition to pay more too.

Not that he was all bad, but certainly no saint.

  • This is such a heartwarming story

  • Wendell Potter is the man!!! He proves that mankind still has a heart and a care for other human beings.

  • there were more whistle blowers before Wendell... and you can bet there are more people in a lot of these corrupt industries sitting in their offices as of right now just living with the fact that, they know they are screwing us, and they don't care/cant care/don't want to be bothered to care. And there are many other corrupt businessman/lobbyists/bureaucrats who are scared to even come out and expose their dirty laundry like Wendell was then. Its heart warming and sad at the same time.

  • IMO, Wendell Potter has become a national hero.

  • We need more moments like this, your the best MMflint!

  • If the big insurance companies can "collude" to smear a film, imagine what they're doing with health care? That's called an oligopoly and breaks our anti-trust laws. And now our president wants everyone to prop up this industry... very interesting.

  • Profit and healthcare do not mix well. One payer system is the best and only one that will work. We have to remove the profiteers from the system. Why people can't see this simple fix is beyond me. We have the opportunity to finally become truly civilized and join the 21 st century but the profiteers are good at spending their profits for propaganda to keep us from seeing the truth about what they do. Come on people, put them out of business. NO PROFIT TAKING ON THE BACKS OF THE SICK.

  • i am not saying that wasnt part of his conversion, but in the half hour interview w moyers he said it was going to one of those places where they have dr's giving free health care in a huge arena that did it. just sayin. that interview is on the pbs site for any interested.

you should link to that interview in the description so ppl can see it. fantastic interview. i think ALL americans need to see it.

  • That poor kid. He had to watch a documentary to find out what was really going on. But I'm moved by the fact that Potter had enough sensibility to realize what he was doing.

Factual material is intense. We're not used to it. We need to stop being so blind, and higher-ups need to stop trying to blind us. It's not fair.

  • Fair schmair, it's all about the Benjamins.

  • Comment removed

  • i don't get it when americans say that they hate health insurence for everyone because it's "socialisme" and that doesn't work in america..

wtf it works great in europe and even in Cuba it works better than in the USA wake up!!!

  • WOW! Great Story, Michael! 5 Stars!

  • I can't hear. Turn up the volume and re-post this video.

  • I guess I'm one of the lucky few with volume control on my speakers.

  • HEY MICHAEL, TURN UP THE VOLUME!!

    I love your work.

  • If only everyone felt the same way as Mr. Potter we could save millions of lives. Somehow I feel it isn't just the healthcare industry that's destroying this country but also every other industry as well; defense industry, food industry, energy, education, news...

  • He sure can consider his dad a hero now. Great story.

  • Thank You Michael Moore for all you do.

WE SUPPORT YOU, WE SUPPORT THE TRUTH AND COMMON SENSE!!!
