@TheAustinsmiley Actually, you're way off base...the corvette is constantly updated...you just don't pay enough attention...the C6 was born from racing essentially and the Z06 and ZR1 prove this time and time again...even earlier iterations of the corvette have lots of racing background...just not endorsed by GM...or so they said...but the engineers sold parts out the back door to improve the breed...how else do you think these cars keep getting better and better...

I even went to the Texas mile and hit 178.68mph; on street tires, and was at ~5600rpm. Your shit box import from the 80's would never stand a chance.

You run 12s all day long? Not from what your videos say. All I've seen from them was low 14 second passes at upper 90s mph. That's a far cry from "12sec 1/4 miles all day".

And I call COMPLETE bull on the 178.68 mph in the mile. Your car won't do 180 mph, let alone in just a mile. Heck, a c5Z Vette won't do but about 170, and that's with 100 more horsepower, 500 pounds less weight, and a way more aerodynamic car.

@buildinup4 its a hybrid...so runs hydrogen.. one part oxygen and 2 parts hydrogen makes water... colder water = lower IAC temps... that = 1453hp. they use the ice because the rapid melting of the H2O separates the hydrogen to feed the massive 440ci engine. the remaining O just cools.

@craig1h Its why cars like these have boost controllers, you only get a certain amount of power in certain gears, so 1st prob is only like 6 or 7psi and 2 is 8-9psi and so on. And the good things about turbos is they don't always make that much power, only when spooled and under boost since they run off the exhaust. Superchargers making this much power on the street would not be very fun though.

@scribklu They weren't made back to back, there was some tuning involved. There were a few pulls in between but they were either testing the tune or not complete pulls so I didn't add them. I don't know why the last one is in blue, it was done about an hour after the first ones, they might have deleted the last pulls, I'm not sure, or maybe I put the wrong ones in the video :)
