@threedefects i think for this recording (over a year ago) sm87 on snare, sm58/57 on toms, mxl v63 as overheads, audix d6 on kick. guitar cab was miced with an sm58 i believe.

I have listened to hundreds of versions of this song, you add a great perspective. The parts where you slowed it down in a more bluesy style were really fantastic. You should do a blues version with a slower soft bass and less prominent drumming, I bet it would sound great! Listen to some of the classical versions esp the Pavarotti version to understand the soul and emotions of the music. Nice work. Merry Christmas!

@Scream4Jesus glad you liked it. unfortunately i have no tabs i just played the melody, which is 95% the same as it always is, so im sure you could find it via some googling. the chords are the traditionaly chords except i replace most of the G chords with Em. hope that helps!
