PLEASE ANWSER i have a raptor 350 with a power bomb header we rejeted it to a 150 main and my header glows a lil bit does yours do that too ? should we have gone bigger ?
true on alot of bikes but the 350 there not much to gain with the new header on a 450 yes you can get good gains but on a 350 the stock header is almost as good or just as good unless well if you get the power bomb is prolly one of the only exceptions but nice clean bike thow but the best gains are from getting rid of the stock plugged up heavy muffuler
all that money in the exhaust you could have got a power core 4 with no header on there and it would do the same.....but it looks awsome on there thow but could got a hotcam for that price
what im getting from the 350 is that it is usually given to the wives so ill just get a 250 but i wonder if im going on hard trails then ill need the 350 tough call
I have the same quad lmao but yes I have had reverse give me problems to but i found if you put your quad in gear then reverse it is much easier to go back and forth between reverse and first gear. you just half to feather the cluthc then pop it in reverse and do the same to get out :)
When the engine/transmission gets hot it does give me a little trouble. You just gotta make sure you fan the clutch back and forth and it shifts just fine.
I can think of a few reasons. First, this is my wife's and its the one she wanted, Second, I'd never buy a damn Suzuki. Third, if I'm riding I'm on my Banshee that chews up and spits out 400s...Dumb ass.
Gets a noticable amount louder, deeper, and more agressive sounding when you take it out. and it also doesnt have that little popping noise when it idles.. (that is because of the baffler screw)
Silencer was about $350 and the Powerbomb header was about $180 from Dennis Kirk. $50 for K&N air filter. Jet kit and installation was about $175. I think just the pipes would make a huge difference even w/o the jet kit and air filter. But you still have to make sure it's jetted right. 4-strokes arent as technical as 2-strokes when it comes to jetting.
I think it did, but I added all of it at the same time. It's a good finishing touch when you add pipes and air breather. Overall, all of it made a huge difference.
Some people claim to be able to pipe a 4-stroke without rejetting it. I always rejet mine. the same atv w/o new jets may run just as good as mine, but I dont think I'd take that chance. As Honda said, rejetting it is just about making it run "right" instead of making it run "better."
how much did it cost to re jet it?

@bryankbeane Sorry man, but the header is where most of your power comes from - not the silencer.

@TheJurisDoctor not on a warrior/ raptor 350. on banshees hell yes, 450 maybe a lil but these professional dynos show no advantage

My 350 video is VERY similar to this. FMF is amazing... but you need to take the baffler out of the end. it is just one screw
dacarman1234 2 years ago
I just saw your video - cool video. How much louder is yours after taking out the baffle?

@hitcb no what the jets do is make it tune right and run better its good to have the system jets and air filter at the smae time
