With the greatest respect, this is just a video of you playing, with out explaination of even the first pattern you play, the rest is just you messing around. Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just a waste when you are obviously good enough to actually teach something.
I appreciate you're critique, especially when its done in a non-insulting manner.
The pattern that Im playing is ffrlrlrl. This is done throughout 70% or so of the video, just, like the description says, Im using different rates, motions, and embellishments (like doubling certain notes) which gives the illusion of completely different patterns.
youre close, but the actual sticking im using there is RFFR LFFL. You have the notes in the right order, the only difference is Im thinking of that first R as the downbeat.
i was wondering if you could give me some of your stickings??? it's like three in the morning here and i have to get up early for a drum lesson and i'm not in the mood for transcription. I would really like to know the lick you play at 1:08! Thanks a million!
thanks! Theyre a low-end Gretsch birch kit, with a Brady Snare drum. Im not one for big, expensive drum sets, but I do appreciate a high end snare, like Brady.
I hear ya,I have 3 kits by Premier and my low wnd kits sounds almost as good as my top range.Your kit sounds great, thanks for great tips mate!Nice to know there are some nice drummers out here.

Sorry, another question about your kit tuning...
Your medium tom sounds great, are you using a diffrent head on that one? whatever it is, i think that is the best sounding tom!
stay with that series.

i think you rely a little too much on the bounce, but other than that this is pretty cool

Wow, i am very impressed. Would you be able to suggest any books to work out of?

Any of the Gary Chaffee books. I studied with him, and use his material to help me all the time...
