This is a REAL hobby you need BRAINS and the knowledge of a nitro engine, you don't just plug-N-go, you have to tune these engine every time the temperature drops or rises a degree to get the max performance !

So how about you get a life and a REAL hobby, (playing videos games 24/7 is not a hobby)

my tmaxx could never pop a wheelie at like all its the same motor and all i recently got it rebuilt and havnt got it back and its like been a week but still it just wont pop up and suggestions?

get new tires and set the needle way lean till it gets a lot of torque or you can tape a 3lb dunbell to the back

DOn't tape a dun bell to it. Just tighten up the slipper clutch and possibly get different tires.

Yeah I don't think there is a big difference. I think the R is just a more updated version of the 2.5 with a tiny bit more power and the heatsink on top is blue instead of the plain aluminum look.

It didn't need a wheelie bar to do wheelies. It was just hard to hold them and ride it out because it would flip over a lot.=)

I love my tmaxx 2.5trx. I had all aluminum parts but they kept on bending. I went to every RPM part they make and back to plastic bulks and am yet to have any problems. I believe I have the most hooked up 2.5 motor possible.

TRX 2.5R (original engine was TRX 2.5), Integy front, center, rear skid plates, Integy Bulkheads, Integy Chassis braces, RPM bulkhead braces, Big Bore shocks, new era heavy springs, high performance tuned pipe, all JR radio equipment, proline bumpers, custom machined wheelie bar and motor mount, trail dawg tires, 2500Mah battery pack, high intake air filter, and a tougher spur gear. ( don't remember the company who made the air filter and spur gear)
